Chapter 126.

Third person POV

They all fall asleep in the hospital room, with the hope that the next day Anastasia would be awake, and everything would be okay.

The morning sun wakes them up as the doctor arrives to do a round of check up on Anastasia and they have to leave the room.

The three of them are in the waiting room, as the doctors leave

“Can we go back in?” Jonathan asks Doctor Mitchell

“Let’s give her a little time,” the doctor replies.

As the sterile hospital room lights flicker overhead, Anastasia stirs, slowly emerging from a deep and seemingly endless slumber. Her eyelids flutter, and for a brief moment, the world is a hazy and indistinct blur.

Sounds come first, then the soft hum of medical equipment, distant voices in hushed tones, and the rhythmic beeping of monitors. Gradually, her senses sharpen, and the room comes into focus.
