Terry froze when he walked in on Ian and Sage embracing each other. Instinctively, he hastily raised his head. "Ouch! I think a mosquito just flew into my eye! I can't see a thing. The doctor shouldn't have gone far yet.

With that, he bolted off. Sage was rendered speechless. After all, it was cold out. There were no mosquitoes to fly into his eye. She couldn't believe Terry would come up with such a lame excuse.

"When are you going to let go of me? Or do you actually want to test it out?" Ian's husky voice echoed in her ear as she slandered Terry inwardly.

Her cheeks heated up when she realized that she still had her arms around Ian's neck and that he was supporting her body with his hands.

Sage hastily let go of him and landed on the ground. "It was your fault! I almost spilled the whole bowl of eggs because you deliberately scared me!"

He looked at the pan on the ground and decided not to waste his breath on Sage. Instead, he picked it up and asked, "What should I do?"
