Terry dragged me out of the bakery by the arm while I was still trying to process what was happening. Then, feeling me dragging behind, Terry stopped and grabbed me by the shoulders, "Sasha, you need to concentrate! Don't think about pointless things; just focus on returning to the mage guild! I can't drag you all the way there!" I looked at Terry, concerned, "What's going to happen?" "Nothing. We only need to get back to the guild, apply a spell that doesn't rely on your ability to change your eye colour, and then increase our disguise by changing our hair. That woman wouldn't have gotten a good look at you, so changing this much should keep us safe while we're still in the city." Terry and I finally made it back to the guild and went upstairs. After we finished fixing and altering the disguise spell, I left Terry's room to start looking for another empty room for myself. Luckily, there was an empty room across the hall from his, so I took it and unpacked my bag. After I unpacked, I took out my nightgown, ready for when I went to bed. As I stared at it, I sighed, "I'm too used to having maids help me... I'm lucky I've even been able to change my clothes by myself." As I tried to reach behind my back to unlatch the buttons so I could change, I ended up falling backwards, making a loud bang as I hit the floor. As I sat up, I rubbed the back of my head, where I hit it against the floor, "Oww! I hate changing my dress! This happens every time I try to unbutton the back!" While Terry and I walked down the hall, we bumped into the vice guild mTom as he left his office. When I saw him, I smiled, "Good morning, guild mTom!" He looked at us confused, "Do I know you two?" "You've forgotten already?" I then remembered we had changed our hair and eyes, "Oh, I'm sorry, you probably don't recognise us. We're the two who joined the guild yesterday. We were just wearing a disguise yesterday..." "Why would you need to wear a disguise?" "Ummm... it's a long story...?" He sighed, "Forget I asked. I was actually on my way to look for you two." Confused, I asked, "Is there a problem?" "No! Not at all! It's actually good news! I've been told that the king is looking for new royal mages, and I thought, with your potential, it would be shameful of me to keep you in this guild! As we walked away from the city, Terry looked over at me and saw I was still shaken up, "Sasha?" I subtly smiled at Terry, "You know, I think at this point you should just call me Sash." Terry blushed slightly, "If that's what you want, I'll try my best... But, as I was going to say, do you want to skip visiting Zetia kingdom and Welas city? Instead, we can go straight to the elves' homeland, Goslodia." Terry and I made our way into the city. Just entering, we started to see there were no actual buildings. Instead, everything was built onto the sides of the trees since they were rather large. There were windows and doorways carved into the sides of the trees, walkways spiralling down the length of them with the occasional bridge connecting them high in the air. I looked around in awe, "I can see why this place can be considered more beautiful than our capital. The designs and buildings are so different from anything you normally see that it's hard to compare them to anything else." "These are just the houses in the outskirts. There's more to be seen deeper in the city." As Terry and I went deeper into the city, we started coming into a natural clearing of trees, and in this clearing, the elves had built a market with stone paths and walls with trees naturally growing over them over time. Over the next eight months, I got much closer to Terry. Apart from the time I spent with Peter and his family, I spent all my free time with Terry, visiting different locations in the elven territory. During these eight months, I got to also watch Larisa turn one. She grew incredibly fast during this time. When I first saw her, she had not long ago started eating baby food, and now she could stand with some assistance, and she was trying to talk. When I woke up this morning, I got ready and went to walk out of my room. When I stepped out my door, I was greeted by Terry waiting for me, "You took your time getting out of bed today." "I would have thought you'd be used to that by now. And you don't have to wait outside my door for me every morning." "Well, I can't wait in your room. So where else can I wait?"
