As we walked away from the city, Terry looked over at me and saw I was still shaken up, "Sasha?" I subtly smiled at Terry, "You know, I think at this point you should just call me Sash." Terry blushed slightly, "If that's what you want, I'll try my best... But, as I was going to say, do you want to skip visiting Zetia kingdom and Welas city? Instead, we can go straight to the elves' homeland, Goslodia." "After what we went through in Tralux capital, I would like to never see another human, so yes, I would love nothing more than to skip the rest of the human cities..." 'I feel ashamed to think I was human in my past life...' "I agree. If we fly from here, it should only take four days to reach the great forest." Terry and I then took on our full forms and started heading towards the great forest. Unfortunately, after only a few hours of flying, it began to get dark, and storm clouds started to form. After only a few minutes, the rain started to come down, getting progressively mor
Terry and I made our way into the city. Just entering, we started to see there were no actual buildings. Instead, everything was built onto the sides of the trees since they were rather large. There were windows and doorways carved into the sides of the trees, walkways spiralling down the length of them with the occasional bridge connecting them high in the air. I looked around in awe, "I can see why this place can be considered more beautiful than our capital. The designs and buildings are so different from anything you normally see that it's hard to compare them to anything else." "These are just the houses in the outskirts. There's more to be seen deeper in the city." As Terry and I went deeper into the city, we started coming into a natural clearing of trees, and in this clearing, the elves had built a market with stone paths and walls with trees naturally growing over them over time. Seeing everything, I didn't know where to look first, "No matter how much I see, I can't stop
Peter sat around the table and asked me, "So, what do you plan on doing in the city?" "I actually wanted to meet Usof Ladan. My Mom told me how he and my Father are good friends." Peter let out a small chuckle, so I asked, "What's so funny?" "I was with your Father when he first met Vel. If it wasn't for me, those two wouldn't be friends. Not to mention the fact that Livia is his sister. It's how we met. When Walter went off with Vel to talk, I was left with Livia, and we had an almost immediate connection. We stayed in touch, sending each other messages, meeting up every year or two, until finally, I decided to go for it and leave Kiddra with her." "Wait, you're married to Usof's sister? So that means Usof is a part of our family?" "Indirectly, but yes. If you like, I can introduce you to him. He lives not far from here." "I'd love that!" "Alright, I'll take you to meet him tomorrow morning." The next day, Peter woke us up early, and we left the house after getting ready. Aft
Over the next eight months, I got much closer to Terry. Apart from the time I spent with Peter and his family, I spent all my free time with Terry, visiting different locations in the elven territory. During these eight months, I got to also watch Larisa turn one. She grew incredibly fast during this time. When I first saw her, she had not long ago started eating baby food, and now she could stand with some assistance, and she was trying to talk. When I woke up this morning, I got ready and went to walk out of my room. When I stepped out my door, I was greeted by Terry waiting for me, "You took your time getting out of bed today." "I would have thought you'd be used to that by now. And you don't have to wait outside my door for me every morning." "Well, I can't wait in your room. So where else can I wait?" I sighed as I smiled, "I mean, you don't have to wait at all." "But I enjoy waiting for you in the morning." I shook my head as I walked over to Terry, kissed him on the cheek
I got up early the next day and got ready as I checked around my room to make sure I didn't forget anything. After a while, my room was cleared out, 'It's weird seeing this room back to how it was when I first arrived. I guess I really got comfortable here.' After one final look around my room, I picked up my bag, put it around my shoulder, and walked out of my room. When I walked out of my room, Terry was waiting outside for me as usual, so I asked him, "You finished packing?" "Yeah, I finished most of it yesterday before I went to sleep." "You must be eager to go. I could only bring myself to get just over half of my packing done yesterday." "So that's why you took longer than normal. Also, I'm not eager to leave, but we have to go back at some point, so there's no point in dragging it out." "I guess you're right. Let's go down and say goodbye to everyone then." Terry and I made our way downstairs and into the dining room. When I walked in, I looked over at Peter and said, "We'
After 16 days of travelling back, we finally arrived outside Kiddra capital. To make getting through the front gate easier, we landed and approached the gate in our full forms. When the guards saw a pink dragon approaching the gate, they immediately assumed I was either royalty or a noble and started opening the gate for Terry and me. Once we were through the gate, we took back to the sky and spent the next six hours flying back to my estate. Finally, we landed just outside the estate, returned to normal, and walked to the front door. When I knocked on the front door, Jasmin answered, "Yes?" I was surprised but happy to see her answer, "Jasmin!" I immediately hugged her. "Miss Sasha, you're back?!" "Of course I'm back. Did you think I'd be gone forever? Also, why are you answering the door? That's not your job." "I'm your personal maid, miss. If you're not here, then I have no work to do, so the Duke put me to work around the estate while you were away." I finally let go of Jas
Over the next week, I spent every day with Crimson making arrangements for the wedding. Unfortunately, during this week, we couldn't decide on a venue. Crimson and I sat down in my garden and shared a pot of tea as she talked about venues, "Sash, we need to pick a venue before we can set a date. What's wrong with having your wedding at the same place as Dan?" "There's nothing wrong with it, but I want that to be a special place for Dan. I want a nice venue that isn't the same as his." "Alright. What about trying to have it at one of the local wedding venues? There are many beautiful buildings just for weddings." "I'm not sure. I want it to be more special than any old venue." Crimson then had an idea, "Why don't you have the wedding here?" "You mean in the estate?" "Yes. We can use the other end of the garden and set everything up there. The entire garden is definitely big enough for a wedding." "That's actually a great idea. And I love our garden even if I spend most of my tim
A week later, Jasmin woke me up early in the morning and prepared me for the day. After she finished getting me ready, I went downstairs to the dining room. When I walked into the room, I was greeted by Crimson, who was already sitting around the table going through some of the wedding plans, "Good morning, Sash. Did you have a good night's sleep?" I sat around the table as I answered, "I did, but I still don't like waking up this early..." "This is the time you used to always get up at before you went on your trip, though." "I know, but I got used to being able to sleep in a little longer." "Before I forget, I was hoping you could go and visit your brother and Angela at their estate today and personally invite them to the wedding." "Dan and Angela got their own estate?" "Of course, they're a married couple now. They need their space. You'll likely want to move out after you marry Terry so you two can be alone together." "I guess you're right. Have you told Dan about the weddin
