Painful goodbye

I got up early the next day and got ready as I checked around my room to make sure I didn't forget anything. After a while, my room was cleared out, 'It's weird seeing this room back to how it was when I first arrived. I guess I really got comfortable here.'

After one final look around my room, I picked up my bag, put it around my shoulder, and walked out of my room. When I walked out of my room, Terry was waiting outside for me as usual, so I asked him, "You finished packing?"

"Yeah, I finished most of it yesterday before I went to sleep."

"You must be eager to go. I could only bring myself to get just over half of my packing done yesterday."

"So that's why you took longer than normal. Also, I'm not eager to leave, but we have to go back at some point, so there's no point in dragging it out."

"I guess you're right. Let's go down and say goodbye to everyone then."
