I should have known striking a deal with someone I know little about would cause me problems. I was so desperate to find a solution to my problems and didn't bother to do a background check on her first. Because why in hell would someone make up a lie like that? Firstly, she dressed up like a gangster baddie which was unexpected. Secondly, she fed all sorts of lies to my father about how we met. I was going to be the one to do the talking when she arrived. But I was shocked when she came in dressed like that. Although I would say the gangster outfit fits her red hair.

Another thing that shocked me was how she told my father that I was attracted to her red hair. I didn't even pay much attention to that. She's too spiteful for my liking. And now that I am slowly getting what I want, I can't afford mistakes. Not with Marcus and Hilda making their way towards us.
