Chapter 14

Ryker

A frustrated hiss left my lips a hundred times. Even after covering my ears with the pillows, Lily's snore was like a lullaby to my ears. I threw the pillow on the floor and jolted up. "How can someone snore like a cow," I should have arranged a separate room for her. Sleeping on the couch is uncomfortable. Besides, I owned the room why would I sleep on the couch?

I spared her sleeping form a look. Her legs were crossed over to my side. She was the one who came up with the idea of using the pillow as a barrier so we would cross each other path but she was the first person to break the rule.

Her snore got louder. The urge to use the pillow and cover her mouth grew in me but I held myself back. “Calm down Ryker. You will deal with her tomorrow.” I tried to assure myself though the anger inside me was still there. If I go out, Father would likely see me or even Marcus and I wasn’t ready for any of their interrogation.
