" What are you talking about? " Layla asked almost in a stutter. " You know absolutely nothing about him. I have known him for years and I know literally everything about him. But you.. I don't even think you know what his worst fear is? " She asked and Layla looked away defeated.

Brielle chuckled. " I guess I'm right then. I would advise you little lady. Give up. He's mine " She said sternly and stood up with a fake smile as she walked over to Shane. She sat down and Shane passed him a questioning look, she only smiled at him.

It was time for Layla to leave for home and she decided against going to Shane's office. She walked out of the company and headed home straight.

" She's not coming? " Shane didn't know when he said that out aloud. Normally, Layla would be in his office at that moment, probably to bade him goodnight. She does that always before going home.
