Isabella 197.

"You know what?" Ava asked us excitedly. She had been giddy ever since her son came to pay her a visit. Due to the turbulence at work, Damien came here after a long day.

"What?" I asked.

"Let's go on a family trip just the three of us, let us just get away from everything, we can clear our heads that way," She replied in an excited manner.

It was not a bad idea. I was a stay at home wife so I had all the time in the world. Plus I was also carrying his child so maybe a vacation was the next best thing.

"Damien? Would it be possible to have you all to myself for a few days?" I jokingly asked my husband.

"Yes, he would love to," Ava answered for him. Damien had on a huge grin.

"When do we leave?" Damien asked. I turned to him, puzzled.

"You want us to go now?" I asked just to be sure that I heard him correctly.

"Why wait? Besides, Renaissance can wait to kill me another day," He said with a shrug.

"That was not funny, Damien," Ava said.

"My apologies," He jokingly replied.

Damien I was watchful during the conference meeting. I took my time to really look at the board members sitting at the table to see if I could see a member of the Founder's Association but none were seated at this conference. Even Rose St Dumas was not present. Maybe she was preparing her cronies of corrupt businessmen and women for the final show down.Camilla Valdez was also not present but Natalia was. I could not tell what was going on in her head as she gazed at me. If her mother was one of them, did that not make her automatically part of tht fold? Was I over reaching? If the plan with the detective worked, it meant that a lot of people will inevitably get hurt. "What is the profit margin for today?" I asked as I got down to business. "Eight percent since last year," Natalia said in a professional manner. "That's lower than last two years," I said with a frown. "That was due to the Al Vegas controversy," One of the board members said. "You mean the embezzlement," I replied
