I admired his bravery for coming to my house. I was fighting a lot of urge to throw him out but I did not think that Isabella was going to like that.

"How did you know about the package?" I asked him, more like demanded because I especially told the police to keep it hush.

"You are not as discreet as you think you are, Damien," Emilio replied with scoff.

"Can we all at least seat down?" Isabella asked.

"He is not welcome in my house, Isabella," I curtly.

"And you are not fit to be anyone's husband but here we are," Emilio replied sarcastically.

I took a deep breath and balled my fist.

"You are pushing your luck, old man," I muttered under my breath and sat down.

"Dad? Please sit," Isabella said and I could vividly hear the soft endearment in her voice.

"Dad?" I asked in disbelief. "Since when?"

"Do not be so surprised, Damien, not everyone is like Vito," He spat out with malice. He was really pushing his luck.

"That is enough!" Isabella snapped
