It had been five days!

The man in the study was emanating an immense chill.

As he expected, Michael was not completely clueless, but it seemed that he had lost the trail as well. Dos had been secretly tailing Michael the entire time, and he watched as the latter found the cabbie who brought Jane to Hangzhou. After that, he stopped.

Michael Luther had followed the same train of thought as Sean had.

Sean pulled his lips into an ironic smile… Back then, all of them had a hand in the incident, some of them on purpose and others by accident. Finally, that woman ended up the sacrificial lamb in the war they fought, so she was cast into that steel cage.

Now, though, lo and behold, she had single-handedly managed to give all of them the slip, stowing away without as much as a ripple on the lake.

“Bravo, sweetheart.” He smiled to himself bitterly.

Knock knock.

“Come in.”

“It’s me, Boss.” The visitor was Alora.

The rustle from the bed approached her slowly, and a dark shadow fell over.
