Jamaal Amir Haidar
I tried my best not to look into my mum's eyes as she stood in front of me. I stared down at her feet that were peeping from the long Abaya gown she was wearing.
"Mum, it's not what you think." I exclaimed, raising my voice louder than usual, her gaze was penetrating. I could feel her stare on my face.
"Mum!" I groaned.
"Shut up, you punk." She whispered. I knew my mum was angry. She calls me punk anytime she was angry at something I did. I have been expecting this questioning but I didn't expect it to be too soon.
"That girl has a life ahead of her and you too. I won't watch you ruin the life of an innocent child because of your sexual fantasy. And I won't watch you ruin yours too." She whisper yelled, I could literally feel smokes erupting from her nose.
I knew not to talk when my mum was angry. <
Olivia KellerI could feel detective Arnold's eyes on me. I hope he was uncomfortable already. His presence here already spelt doom. I didn't understand why mum would want us to have dinner with this man, her fu*king boss. Or maybe I was just pretending not to understand.A part of me knew why detective Arnold was here. I watched my mum serve his food and how he smiled at her. That would have looked cute but to me it was annoying. My mum and detective Arnold makes me want to puke. The only odd thing in this house right now was Detective Arnold."Liv baby," my mum called out."Olivia," I corrected, rolling my eyes."Don't call me that, only my father has the right to call me that." I added.I watched her eyes widened in shock and
Olivia KellerI badly wanted to know who Mystery man was and at the same time I did not. I have avoided Face-book for the past four days. Instead I have stayed glued to Jamaal who keeps zoning out on me, the football team already resumed their training on the fields making it hard for us to really talk or do anything else.Yesterday was the spelling bee contests and we won. Though we almost lost due to Jordyn's cold. I felt she did that intentionally. I made sure I avoided her at all costs after the spelling bee. Jordan's diary was somewhere in my closet. I don't think I really wanted to read about his life before he died, but wait a minute. I can find out something about his death. I should at least get a leading or something similar to a leading. I walked out of the class immediately calculus class was over. I headed directly to my secret
Jamaal Amir Haidar I held her small hands in mine, and it fitted perfectly. She kept glancing at me as we walked towards the cave. "Why are you looking at me like that, I'm not going to eat you." I said, laughing out loud. "Where the hell is this place Jamaal?" She whispered, glancing at me. "My secret spot," I replied, winking. "Are you sure you are not a Werewolf?" She asked softly. I began to laugh, clutching my tummy. "Oh my goodness Olivia, do you want me to pee in my pants? Seriously Werewolves?" I asked, trying to restrain myself from laughing again. "And are Werewolves real?" I asked in response. "Who knows? Then what do you need a cave for? Are
Olivia KellerI waved at Jamaal as he drove off, I could still feel the aftermath of what we did at the cave. I tucked my hair behind my ear as I walked into the house. I could still feel tingles down my spine, the way he treated my body was kind of strange to me. His mouth was on every part of my body, he tasted my body like it was the most delicious thing he has ever tasted. My cheeks burned as everything we did flashed through my mind.My nipples were kind of sore and tender with the attention he gave to them, was this how Drew felt when Javier sucked on her nipples. I love the way Jamaal made me feel, and I will do anything to make him continue to make me feel this same way. His long fingers were not just long for nothing, they were useful today. I clenched my thighs as I closed the door. I loved this feeling, it made me feel like I was walking in the air.
Olivia KellerThe hall way was crowded as usual, some students were lottering around the hall. Some music students were busy practicing their notes. I could see the delinquents in a secluded corner, probably smoking their morning pots.Crown high school is a prestigious school, but that doesn't mean good and bad stuffs don't go down in the school. Students die here, and later on everyone keeps living their lifes like nothing ever happened.I have managed to get Mystery man off my mind but to be honest, I still miss him. At times I just want to log into my Facebook account to read his message. Find out who he is, but I'm damn scared, I will have to tell him who I am too. What happens if he suddenly wants us to meet and even date. Jamaal, I was going out with him. What have I gotten myself into for crying out loud.Jamaal and I have gotten really close, anytime we are alone, stuffs happens. Ev
Olivia KellerI could feel Jamaal's stare as I sat on my usual seat. The noise in class wasn't helping matters. I could see him with the corner of my eyes as he and his squads stood at the entrance of the class.Just then they stepped into the class, I could hear some of the football team mates greeting them with their slangs. I focused entirely on my jotter pad, pretending I didn't notice them.Suddenly Mr Andrews walked in immediately the bell rang. Two students were standing beside him, a girl and a boy. Then it clicked, the new classmates Drew was talking about it. The girl was as beautiful as Drew described. She was an eye candy, very attractive on a higher level. They both depicted the look of a rich kid.The guy was cute, he looked kind of bored. Like this place was the last place he wants to be in.
Olivia Keller I didn't have the intention of going to tutor Jamaal today, but I had to quickly make up my mind after he ignored me yesterday. I knew something was wrong. Maybe because I've been spending time with his cousin Azeez. But Azeez was his cousin, so I see no reason for the silent treatment. "You can wait down here, I will go get Jamaal down here." His mum said, leaving me alone in the sitting room. I understood her sudden change, the last time I was here she caught I and Jamaal making out. That explains the reason why she wants to go get Jamaal instead of telling me to go upstairs to his room like before. I couldn't really blame her. I sat down quietly on one of the plush sofas with my hands clasped on my laps. I could hear footsteps from behind, suddenly Azeez appeared with a can juice in hands. He c
Olivia Keller"Gosh, Olivia. You are pretty. I'm sure you know that." Ayesha said, smiling. I didn't expect her to talk to me or even be this close, to say I was still kind of shocked will be an understatement."So tell me, you love Jamaal don't you?" She whispered.I stared at her not knowing what to say, did she really ask me this. Love Jamaal, I like Jamaal. I enjoy his company, I love the fact that he touches me like I was priceless to him.But still, there was still one person on my mind. Mystery man. I badly wanted to check up on him and reply his message. I think it's time he knew who I am. Olivia Keller, it would be nice if we both get acquainted and even meet up. "You just zoned out on me." She said, snapping m
Drew RiversThe whole school found out what happened to Olivia and Jamaal. None of us ever imagined they were siblings. I felt so bad for Olivia, she was in love with Jamaal but everything just ended abruptly. "Are you missing Olivia?" Vicenzo asked."Yes, I do. She was the best friend I never had.""But you should be happy for her, you know things might be worst for her if she comes back into this school, I'm glad she is leaving the country. That is the best thing for her, at moment. I hope she heals completely of this traumas." He whispered, caressing my cheeks."Do you know, she losed the pregnancy? I feel really bad for her. I muttered under my breath." "Don't, I think it is best for her.""Now, I'm scared of sex. I don't
Olivia Keller My head was banging seriously, I tried to pry my heavy eyes open. I succeded in opening my eyes. I couldn't recognize where I was, I could only see woods and planks piled up everywhere. This place seems like a carpenter's workshop. I tried to talk but my mouth was covered with a tape. I realised my hands were tied behind me, my buttocks hurt from sitting on the wooden chair I was. So, it wasn't a dream. I was actually kidnapped. I wonder how many days I have been here, it feels like ages. Suddenly I heard footsteps coming closer, two people walked into the workshop, one was a male and the other was a female. They both looked somehow familiar to me, I'm sure I have seen them somewhere before. They both walked closer to me, I realized they were teenagers like me, they both came into view. I was shocked to my toes. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't. The tape was o
Olivia Keller I was very far from home and it was already getting dark. I felt restless, a pregnant teenager walking down the streets late at night. This part of the street was getting dark and cold. I have been in a stupor since I found out about my pregnancy. My mind was blank. I already made up my mind not to go back home, I had nowhere to go. My cell phone suddenly began to ring, I picked it up immediately, I totally forgot I had my phone with me. Jamaal was boldly on the screen. "Hello Jamaal." I said into the phone. "Hi, Olivia. Are you okay. Your voice seems cracked, have you been crying?" He asked in a rush. I kept mute, I couldn't bring myself to tell him I have been crying. "Olivia, why are you quiet?" He asked. "Did you get the test
Olivia Keller I was able to bring in the pregnancy test kits without them knowing I hid something underneath my skirt. The lady who sold it for me didn't give me a weird look as I expected, she must have gotten used to teenagers coming over to buy the kits. I held on to the bag of chocolates as I passed through the living room to my room. I could feel mum's stare behind me. It was time to get this done and over with, I can't be pregnant at this moment. I turned the key, making sure I locked the door. The last thing I want was for my mum to come in while doing the test. I pulled out the test kits, I bought just three, and I am going to use the three. I went into the bathroom quietly. I sat on the toilet lid, holding the test kits in my hands. I was damn scared, the previous discussions my mum had with me kept replaying in my mind. I promis
Jamaal Amir Haidar Dinner was unusually quite, normally we don't leave by the rules don't talk while you are eating. Immediately we were all done, mum cleared her throat loudly. I think she heard our discussions when we were in my room. Azeez was a bit too loud. Ayesha tried to reassure me she didn't hear anything. But I knew my mum better than them. She rarely knocks but this time around she knocked. "Azeez and Ayesha, you will both be going back to your parents tomorrow morning." My mum said, breaking the silence. "Aunty Nabila," Ayesha whispered sadly. I felt bad for her, this place was the only place she could be free, even if it is not for long. Going back to her parents was like going back to a prison after so many years of freedom. "Mum, but they are supposed to stay with us till they graduate from H
Jamaal Amir Haidar "Is there something bothering you?" Ayesha asked. She was the only one I told about going to see Olivia. She came into my room immediately she found out I was back. "Have you found out from your dad?" I asked. She just realized she was betrothed to Liam few weeks ago. "I don't want to talk about it," she whispered. "Were you able to see Olivia?" She asked. "Is she okay?" She asked again. "Ayesha, you won't believe this." I whispered, raking my hands over my head. The door of my room opened and Azeez stepped in. His face was cloudy, he looked worried. He sat on my bed with a thud. "I think Imogen
Olivia Keller The rays of sunlight coming from the opened window shined on my face. I yawned loudly, stretching my arms lazily. I looked around, even though I wake up late on Saturdays, I still hear the chirpings of the morning birds no matter what, but this morning was different. What happened to those birds, did they go on strike. I massaged my temple, why does my head feel heavy. I pushed my duvet away from my body, putting my legs on the floor. I flinched immediately the cold seeped into my feets. I grabbed my laptop from my lamp table and charged it. I need to get some writing done. I picked up my cellphone to check the time. "One am," I muttered under my breath, I can't believe I slept this late. I spent last night drafting the hate to love relationship of my mum and Detective Arnold into my plot. Writing, that has been the only one thing that has been keeping my
Olivia Keller I felt so sore and tender, my thighs were burning. It was hard for me to walk properly. I can't believe I let this happen. I didn't let him speak to me, the drive back to my house was a quiet one. I suddenly felt a great irritation for him. Thanks to him I just ruined my promise to my mum. Detective Arnold's car was parked at the small space we used for garage. I knew my mum was at home then. I couldn't limp inside this way with out her asking what happened. I forced my thighs closed, it hurts a lot but I held on. I just have to endure the pain till I got to my room. Mum and detective Arnold were both on the three seater couch, cuddling as usual. "Hey baby." Mum called, sitting up immediately. I smiled at her and went up to my room. I locked my door immediately. I tried to wrestle with the pain
Olivia Keller "I think I'm in love with you." His confession kept echoing in my head repeatedly. "Are you not going to say it back?" He asked, moving towards me. He sat next to me till our shoulders brushed each other. "And, why should I say it back?" I asked, smiling. "Or should I get it out of you. I have ways of getting it out of you." He replied. "Ways like what," I teased, licking my lips. I turned my face to his, he was already looking at me, his gaze shifted to my lips. "Can I kiss you?" He suddenly asked out of the blues. "If you want to." I replied. "I love you Olivia," he said, looking at me like I was the most important thing that has ever happened in his life.
