2021-07-18 01:25:07We trudge home trough the thick mud and rain. Silent tears slip from my cheeks. Not for those who were lost but those who still remain. Those who mourn for their loved ones. Mates, fathers, brothers, husbands, sons. I wrap my arms tighter around myself and let out a single soft sob. Hunter silently wraps his arm around my shoulder and tucks me into his side. I don’t let the walls break though. I just lean further into his warmth.
