THIRD PERSON'S POV.

Clara was on her knees crying her heart out as the rain poured. She was gripping hard onto her bags. The rejection from someone she hated hit deeper in her. She had no one to console her. Someone approached her and held an umbrella for her, to prevent the rain from falling.

She slowly raised her head and saw Ethan. She burst into tears the more when their eyes met. She jumped up and hugged him regardless of her wet clothes, she cried hard on his shoulder while Ethan's hand was around the corner.

He blinked and swallowed hard. He had never been in this situation before. Why was she crying? He slowly brought his hand to her back and patted her.

"It's fine. You don't have to cry anymore. I'm here." He assured her.

Clara held onto him tight as if he was going to disappear.

"Please, let me…I want to stay in your arms for a while."

If she couldn't find comfort in the arms of those she called family or relatives then there was nothing wrong in being with a stranger

THIRD PERSON'S POV.The next morning, Clara rolled out of bed and for the first time in her past nineteen years, she felt great and had nothing to worry about. She hummed a tune as she found her in the bathroom, she had no choice but to use most of the morning necessities she saw there. Moreover, Ethan didn't seem to mind the fact that she wore the robe last night. She finished taking her bath and wondered what type of clothes she was supposed to wear when she heard a knock on her door. "I'm coming." She spoke up to answer the door. When she opened it, she met Ethan standing in front of her and holding a bag. He brought it closer to her face. "Here, I bought you a few clothes seeing as you have no one that fits the description of a high-class lady that my dad will love to see." He explained and Clara cringed a bit at the full talk. "Thank you." She said with a smile and collected the bag. "Hmm." "And good morning." Clara quickly greeted. "Get ready. We need to go

With disgust, she went back to reading.Olive came down thereafter in an energetic manner. Clara saw the maids entering the kitchen and she wanted to join them. "Ethan, please let me get a glimpse of the kitchen. I would love to join them if you don't mind." She pleaded. Ethan raised his brows. "Are you sure? I don't think there is any need for you…" "There is a need. Just a few minutes, okay? Grandpa, is it okay if I go?" She switched from her reluctant boyfriend to her soon-to-be father-in-law. "Of course. Go ahead." Olive responded with a huge smile. Having such bliss in the house within a day was something he had always asked for. Clara followed the route to t

ROGUES.The next morning, Clara woke up in Ethan's room feeling better than last night. It was her second night with him and she didn't feel comfortable all through having to spend the night with a man.He was respectful though because he was on the couch while she was on the bed. She also felt bad for making him sleep in such an uncomfortable place in his room. By the time she woke up, Ethan was already awake and dressed up for work.He glanced at her, her hair was rough and her cheeks were red and puffed up, making her look like a three-year-old. "Good morning." Clara cleared her throat to greet him. "Morning. How was your night?" Ethan asked. "It was good, thank you. You are off?" "Yeah," Ethan answered and lifted his suitcase. He stared at her, she seemed to have something to say. "Do you want to say…" "Yeah. Uhm, can you please get me another room? I don't want to disturb you in your room so I am actually comfortable anywhere else but here.

Clara was walking beside Alpha Olive in the garden. It was a beautiful afternoon and the sun wasn't burning too bright, making the weather enjoyable. Finally, Olive suddenly took his seat and showed Clara a space to do so. They had been walking together for a while and he was yet to say anything which kinda made poor Clara anxious. "Do you know how I was able to build this empire?" Olive started talking and Clara shook her head. Olive then smiled at her response. "What do you know about the Red Moon Pack? Let's start from there." Clara sighed softly, "I heard that it is the biggest Pack in the generation of werewolves and because of the deeds your ancestors did, every male child from your side is expected to choose any girl that they have an interest in. They could easily form a bond with her. Your pack has about fifteen other smaller packs under it and so far so good, they have been satisfiable with your opinions and leadership." She replied cautiously.Olive clapped thrice wi

By the time Ethan and Ben arrived back at the pack house, the mood was celebratory. Ethan glanced at his friend, confusion written all over his face and funnily, Ben had the same expression on. "Who is getting married?" Ben asked no one in particular. "Married? No one is getting married silly. Ethan brought in his chosen mate and no one knew until the Alpha announced it. How dare you!" One aged woman pointed her finger at Ethan threateningly. Her hair was naturally still black despite how aged she had become. That seemed to be the gift the moon goddess gave to her.She was the most respected in the mansion and one thing was noted of her; she hardly came into any conversation she wasn't invited to and whenever she was invited, the wise words that came out of her mouth were unbeatable. Her kids were not around as some were married and had traveled but she had two grandkids with her. One was a sixteen-year-old girl while the other was a ten-year-old boy.Ethan chuckled softly as he

"What is the meaning of that, huh? Are you so forgetful when you go insane over unmeaningful things?" The Alpha yelled at Elena, causing her to flinch. "I am sorry, Alpha." "You almost revealed our deepest secrets!" Somehow, the fight that had happened between her and Drake had gotten to the ears of the Alpha and he was pissed about it. So he called Elena to his office, beside her was Drake as well who seemed to not be concerned about the ongoing issue. "I was just worried, Alpha. Is there anything wrong with that? No one cares for her, we don't even know where she is. She could be kidnapped or hurt and she has a father in a hospital so she needs our help." Elena replied. "Listen, girl, I am sure you were around when she renounced her being a member of this pack and also on behalf of her father which means that they are not a part of my responsibility anymore, do you get it? They never contributed anything good to this pack; both the father and daughter were utterly a d

THIRD-PERSON POV.Everyone looked at Ophelia for an explanation except Ethan who wasn't getting why she was always tackling poor Clara. "What? Why is everyone looking at me like I said something bad?" She snorted. "Well, that's because you seem to always match towards that." Ben retorted. Ophelia was holding a spoon but then put it down gently before hooking her fingers together and placing them under her chin. "Listen here, bruh. I always say the truth no matter what and I don't care who you could be but I will always say it. Many of you here have decided to ignore the truth while fantasizing but I won't. This isn't about me disliking her or not, I have no reason to because I support her relationship with my brother but I have always wished for someone strong, more advanced in age and wisdom to become Luna.I was even planning to introduce a friend of mine to Ethan for a check when he suddenly brought her home." Ophelia glanced at Clara and continued talking. "She is a ni

"Good morning, ma'am." The workers greeted Ophelia as she walked past them, her heels clicking against the tiled floor. Her walks were powerful and majestic, which was why some people believed that her personality got her the position of assistant to Ethan who was the CEO of the company rather than her beauty only. "Good morning," Ophelia answered. She got into the elevator and pressed the button. The elevator dinged and it started going upward. It was a special type of elevator whereby only those who were inside could see those outside but it wasn't the same with those outside.Once Ophelia got to the floor, she got out of the elevator. The workers greeted her and she replied to them as well until she got to Ethan's office.Their company was one of the biggest companies that were involved in the selling of lands and properties. Ethan settled down as far as he could from Ophelia and he had as many abled people beside him to probably stop him from strangling her to death. There were Clara, Ben, Lucille, and some other abled men for this short mission. The elders were allowed to start talking while Ethan kept shut because it was more advisable to do so. He wasn't in the right state of mind. "We received a letter on your behalf from this young man…" a woman pointed at Jackson while speaking to Ophelia. *Who claimed to be your mate? How true is this?" She asked her.Ophelia blinked, her heart was still racing, all of a sudden this apparent situation of hers opened the door for more headaches, worries, high blood pressure, and whatever one could feel and think about at the point of death. "Yes…yes…he is my mate." "He is human," Lucille said and locked eyes with Ophelia meaningfully. "Yes." She answered with a whisper. "Do you really want to apologize or you just had him do that as a fake? You've

"Luna has already sent a letter back to them but I think the question now is will Ophelia come or not?" She answered.Ben sighed, "I just don't even know my stand in all of these. Will everything go well for our good? Ethan doesn't seem like he is in a good mood to want to welcome anybody. He has been yelling at everyone at the company." He rubbed his hair.Lucille sighed and put down the big bear toy that she was holding. She went to meet him and wrapped his arms around her waist making him place his head on her tummy. If I had been totally naked, I would have been going through therapy now and her apologies wouldn't heal me." Agnes complained and flung herself across the chair.A wolf passed by them carrying Sofia on its back. "Anyway, it is all gone now and she has turned a new leaf. Try being friendly towards her." Clara said as she rubbed her tummy subconsciously. "I will try to but I won't hesitate to bring her down to her knees if she goes insane." She threatened. There was nothing to gain as it was an absolute waste of time. She turned around and saw Jackson standing there, staring back at her. She eyed him without much reaction. One was expecting the other to tell him to come but staying off was probably better because anything dangerous could happen. Rihanna spread her hands open suddenly for him and Jackson's eyes widened. "Someone went ahead to spread pictures of Luna and Mr. Henry, claiming that the both of them are dating." She answered. "That's absurd," Lucille answered and collected the phone from her hand. She took a look at the contents and rolled her eyes afterward before taking a seat. "Well, to be able to sell, they need to provide enough false news. And telling the tales of Billionaires seems to work just fine for them, I guess." Lucille replied.Clara didn't even mind and only focused on eating her fruits. "I hope the Alpha won't get worried and over-jealous after seeing this. The pictures are quite intimate." Agnes showed Clara. "If he doesn't get jealous, that only proves he doesn't love me. Jackson came back with a glass of drink for her and sat beside Ophelia who was sobbing. By now, she was trying hard to stop herself from crying and eventually started hiccuping so Jackson had to attend to her. "Here. Have some water." He gave her the water and she collected it with trembling hands. "Thank you."Jackson nodded and watched her drink all of it. What could be the problem? Who offended and made her cry? Why was she crying? She had always been that strong face woman that he knew so why was she crying? After a few minutes, she was done drinking the water and gently put down the cup. "May I ask why exactly you are crying?" Jackson asked her again worriedly. Ophelia bit her lips and fumbled with her fingers. Maybe she shouldn't have come here directly but she wasn't in the right state of mind to want to be alone. "I…I"Jackson sighed, "It's okay if you don't want to talk about it. "Alpha, the flavors are complete and I can assure you that she will love them." He said. "You are not here so how can you say that on her behalf?" Ethan raised his brows and Ben just scoffed. "I can't believe that you are behaving like this now. What happened to the strong Ethan I know? Come to think of it, during my time, you didn't consider me serious. You would mock me all the time and whenever I called to cry out to you for help, you just ignored me and reported me to Lucille for more suffering. Don't you think that it's my time to repay the deeds?" He smiled at Ethan like a maniac and Ethan successfully pulled out the leadership card against him "As your Alpha, you shall obey me." Unlike any other house with a staircase in sight whenever someone came in, Jackson concluded that they must be in the waiting room because there was no staircase in sight for him even though it was a big building that ought to have one.An aged man then appeared with a lot of electronic gadgets. Some were his phones. He seemed to be in his seventies as most of his hair had turned white. He was wearing
