Chapter 78 I Don't Know Her

Serena exclaimed and rushed over, grasping Mary's hand.

Mary's vacant eyes suddenly cleared, flickering with awareness. She opened her mouth, but with an oxygen mask covering it, speaking was inconvenient.

"Granny, rest well," Serena said, rubbing Mary's hand against her cheek.

Feeling the pain, Serena remembered the injury on her own cheek. Mary's gaze held concern and inquiry.
