Chapter 439

Matthew’s phone rang before Christina was anywhere within sight. It was an incoming call from his assistant, Fred.

A delight filled his heart. “It must be about Travis.”

He answered the call. As expected, Fred found out which hospital Travis had been checked into. “President Henderson, he’s at the special nursing ward of the First Hospital. He was checked in today.”

Fred asked the doctor about Travis’ condition. The boy’s condition was currently stable and not at risk.

“Great, keep a close eye at the ward but don’t raise any attention.”

Matthew told Ariel about what he learned after ending the call. She was relieved to hear that. Her biggest concern was Heather hiding Travis somewhere secluded, but the search went effortlessly with Matthew’s assistance.
