Chapter 128

Christina carried Travis tightly in her arms as she rushed home only to realize that Matthew had parked his car downstairs.

Matthew felt embarrassed to meet her after his confession was ruined by Michael the other day. Also, she took a few days off to stroll about in Jade City with Sean.

Christina was the first woman to excite and reject him. Thus, Matthew had a love-hate relationship with her and was addicted to her.

He could not put up with it after he had not seen her for several days. Hence, he simply made himself an excuse. ‘I’m a man, and I should make the first move, not wait for a woman to take the initiative to get closer to me.’

After he had thought that way, he showed up flamboyantly downstairs in Christina's apartment.

He dared not go up to her room, although he had waited for three hours but still did not see her. He was about to leave when he saw Christina walking toward him with a boy in her arms.

He questioned her impatiently, “Where have you been?”

“We went to g
