Jaida quickly noticed the emotions running across his face and flashing through his eyes. She bit her lower lip, unable to help it anymore."Arius, I'm so sorry," she told him, earning her his full attention. "I'm not very helpful, am I?" Arius watched as her eyes began to shimmer. "You got hurt because of me. I'm sure you would have been fine on your own. I do nothing but cause trouble." He noticed that she was sniffling a bit. Being a Deslyan, this would have been the perfect opportunity for him to lay it on thick, to tell her it was her fault, that she was nothing but a burden. The emotion she was giving off would have satiated his hunger, but as he watched a tear drop roll down her cheek, he changed his mind. Just this once, he would refrain from feeding off of human emotions. He wouldn't use her like that."It's…it's alright," he told her, unable to think of anything else to say.

Jaida began sprinting right away, pulling away from the other students. No one was surprised. She was their track star, after all. She could outrun anyone, even the boys. They left the building, now heading down the street. Arius kept one eye on the road and the other on Jaida. She still didn't look too good. Her face was still flushed, and he could hear her breathing irregularly. No matter what it took, he was going to keep her from going to school tomorrow. She needed to rest."You're staying home tomorrow," he demanded, and she gave him a disbelieving glare. She was about to say something, but he quickly cut her off. "You're staying home. I'll get the work for you, alright? Besides, tomorrow is Friday. It's just one day." Jaida sighed, realizing that he wasn't going to let it go. She knew he'd go far enough to lock her in her room or tie her to a chair to keep her from going. He'd probably even threaten her life, but then that would defeat the purpose, right? Still, she wouldn't run any of it past him. It was hard to tell to what extent he'd go to get his way.

An hour passed as he just sat there, deciding what to do. He wasn't sure when she would come back, and when she did, then what? Her feelings wouldn't change. She'd still be mad at him. Lucius seemed a bit smug right now. He was too smug actually. He looked as though he was hiding something, like he had some kind of trick up his sleeve. Arius stood atop one of the tallest buildings in the city. His crimson eyes were scanning the sky for any signs of Lucius, but he couldn't see him. Where is he? I know I can sense him, but I don't see him anywhere. Arius quickly took to the skies, still scanning the area for the white winged angel. He was going to kill him this time. Lucius had to die.
