“You get right down to business, don’t you?” he replied. “I like it.” The car slowed to a halt, and the driver turned off the ignition.

I glanced out the window to see the occupants of the other vehicles exiting and heading towards the entrance. Turning back to him, I arched my eyebrows. “I’ve learned it’s the only way to live,” I said, folding my arms across my chest. “So? What’s it going to be? Are you going to tell me what this is all about or not?”

“I’d prefer to show you,” he answered with a smile. I started to say something, but the driver turned around to speak to him. He looked worried for a moment, then quickly masked his emotions. I tried not to listen, but it was impossible sitting right there.
