Twenty-Seven

Titan looked up as the door opened. He watched his sister walk in, before looking down on his files again. "You should be asleep," he said.

"So should you," she responded.

Titan shrugged, his eyes fixed on the paperwork. "I've got stuff to do,"

Maya rolled her eyes. "Like what? Please Titan we both know they are not important enough to keep you awake all night."

Titan did not respond. He simply kept typing away on his laptop. Maya sat on the couch and narrowed her eyes at him. "Tell me something, are you avoiding her?"

"Avoiding who?" he asked without looking up.

"Olivia of course, I know you asked, no, ordered that she should be moved to your bedroom."

"I had my justifications and at the top is the fact that I don't trust her to stay on her own and not run away."

Maya leaned back. "Is that really why you asked her to vacate her chambers? Or is there more?"

He raised his head to glare at his sister but Maya stared right back at him. Titan looked away and back at his laptop.
