Hundred and Thirty-One

Mellor was watching the men travel through a pond. It was complicated magic. One that could not be explained to the average mind. Even for a wizard of his pedigree, he would need to spend two days recuperating from such an arduous spell, but as long as Titan and his men were victorious, it would be well worth it. Besides his cherished friend, Andre Black would turn in the grave if he did not do everything in his power to aid his son through such a crucial time.

On Titan's command, the men hid in the bushes at the first sighting of the border security men. Two minutes later, a knife throw hit one of the enemy guards and he fell dead without a sound.

The other one was taken out from the back but fell with a scream. Titan cursed silently. He knew this would trigger suspicion or at least draw some attention and in an immediate response to his premonition, an alarm reverberated through the night.
