A sudden shiver crawled up my spine when I stepped onto the ground, sending chills down my body. I clenched my teeth and glanced towards the ominous alley ahead. This is a place meant for the dead, not for the living.

As I requested directions, the responsible security guard welcomed and directed me towards my destination. As I strolled along, my thoughts dwelled on Lizzie and the heartache she must be experiencing. The unexpected turn of events left me devastated. The bitter end to our shared history was something I never foresaw.
