Passionate Night, huh!

William’s POV

After I ended the three-way call with Andy and Anna, I decided to make a cup of calming tea to enable me to sleep. I had trouble sleeping because of the chaotic life I lived in the past. I was making this tea when my phone beep. It was the least expected person, Charlotte.

“Help me! I’m freezing!” she said over the phone. Even though her voice was tiny, I knew she meant that as an exclamation. The call ended before I could say something else. I was afraid something bad would happen to her. She claimed to be freezing but I didn’t know what happened to her exactly. I had to find out by myself.

I knew Charlotte’s house since I drove her there after our date. I had to go there again. I could remember leaving her at the gate in a half-drunk, half-sober state. I stepped on the gas and sped as fast as I could. It didn’t take so much time before I arrived. I called her phone but she wasn’t picking up. I managed to find her apartment but it was protected by a pass code.
