Anna’s POV

Getting to the office the next day, I found out that both Charlotte and William didn’t come to work. I didn’t know what happened but it was truly suspicious. I didn’t want to call William directly so I sent Andy to check up on him. Andy had the key to his house and twenty minutes after I gave the order, Andy updated me.

“William is not at home…” Andy told me over the phone. “He left an encrypted message claiming he went to Charlotte’s house. If he is not back by this time, he might have been caught. Something worse could have happened to him by now.”

“Find him but don’t reveal his identity…” I told him quietly. Even though I made this phone call in the toilet, I had to make only little noise. It would be the best for me as well.
