After Darren concluded the hearing with the verdict, everything was over, but the court wasn't dismissed immediately.

He went back to his seat and sat down without looking back at Lucy. However, he could feel her eyes on him and he knew that she just wanted him to look at her again. But, he wasn't interested in giving her that pleasure. So, he just kept on staring straight ahead, acting oblivious to that fact.

Lucy turned her head away from Darren. She didn't know why she wanted him to look at her anyway, they weren't even supposed to cross part at all, not after what he did with Sharon.

A few seconds later, she felt his eyes on her. He was staring hard at her and he wasn't even trying to hide it. She slowly turned her head towards his direction, their eyes locking onto one another.
