"Alpha Darren, I wanted to ask if we were still going to continue our fencing." A guard walked up to Darren, who had his eyes closed. He inched closer and realized that Darren didn't even hear a word he said. "I wanted to ask if -" he stopped when Darren started opening his eyes slowly. He narrowed his eyes at the guard, as he slightly bowed. He asked Darren the question, but he was dismissed almost immediately. Darren was left alone, alone with his thoughts. He noticed that his eyes were closing in on him, and he was suddenly feeling dizzy, something that didn't happen five minutes before. Thinking that he just needed to walk it off, he stood up but sat back down almost immediately. He furrowed his brows, trying to think about what was happening. "What's wrong?" He asked himself, when his bones suddenly started getting weak. He punched the middle of his brows and grumbled to himself. He was feeling sleepy, and he just thought that if he went to his room, then he would feel better
When Darren was about to get to Lucy's room, a guard walked up to him and stopped him. "Um, alpha Darren. I think there's something you need to attend to on the field. It's about one of the pack members." He was surprised, because the guard had never called him for anything like that before. "What's wrong? I'm sure it's something you should be able to handle, right?" The guard slowly shook his head, knowing that if it wasn't serious, then he wouldn't have called him. With his eyes still fixed on Lucy's door, he told the guard that he was going to go and meet him soon, saying that he just had to take care of something. "No, alpha. It's pretty serious. Two of the pack members - Liam and Sam, are fighting and it's getting pretty bloody. I'm sure thier wolves would have taken over now." Darren could hear the urgency in the guard's voice, so he peeled his eyes away from her door and went with the guard to see what was really wrong. In Lucy's room, Sharon was still there on the bed, slee
"I am telling you, Darren. I don't know where she is. If I did, I'd have definitely told you. She's so dear to me." Sharon lied, slowly turning her head to face him. Darren scanned her face for a while with anger brewing in him. After staring at her for about three seconds, he slowly turned towards the door. He realised that there was no way she would do something like that. She wasn't smart enough. When he was about to get to the door, he felt Sharon's hands around him. "Please, stay with me. I can't stop thinking about-" he pushed her away, before she had the chance to finish her sentence. "Stay away from me! Don't dare me, Sharon. Don't." He threatened, before walking out of his room angrily. He had more than enough things to worry about, he didn't want Sharon to add to them. Darren took long strides to his study and started pacing around, while thinking of what to do. His mind drifted to her dad, who was locked up. He was sure that even though he warned the guards not to let he
"You're not going anywhere, alpha Darren. You're in my pack house right now. You can't just barge in here and try and have your way, it's not possible!" Alpha Stanley went to stand before Darren, glaring at him like he was about to hurt him. Darren's eyes started darkening, because since he already said that he was going to get Lucy, he didn't care about anything else, especially not what Stanley was telling him. "You know me so much by now. You should know that not even you can't stop me. That's how it is. I know my Lucy is in there, and I'm going to get her." He pushed past Stanley, and started walking into the house, when four bulky looking men walked forward with their wicked eyes fixed on Darren. "What's this? We both know that I could end these four if I want to. Tell them to leave my way, now! I'm not going to repeat it, Stanley." Darren continued threatening with his eyes fixed on the men. A wicked smile danced on Stanley's lips, as he stepped forward to face D
"Who are you guys and what are you doing here? I thought nobody was here. I'm literally surrounded by hills and a few trees, how are you here?" Lucy said, while trying to back away from the men. Even though she had screamed at the top of her lungs asking for help, she didn't really expect anyone to just come out of the blues. It seemed weird. "We're here to help you, princess." One of them brought out a pocket knife, while the second one took out a handkerchief. The third only stared at her, his eyes roaming around her body lustfully. When she saw that, she instantly understood what was happening, and she started limping backwards, trying to run for her life. But, her injury wasn't allowing her to move much. And, even if she didn't have any injury, she was sure that she couldn't outrun three men that were thrice her size The men didn't stress at all. They kept on watching her back away from them with her one leg. They knew that they were going to catch up with her whether
Stanley started pacing around his throne hall immediately after Darren left his house. The fact that Lucy was missing was so disturbing to him, that he couldn't even think straight after that. "What should I do? Argh!" He stopped walking and his hand flew to his head to drag his hair out of frustration. After thinking about what to do for about six minutes, he called all the guards to line up in the throne hall. "I'm sure you all saw the alpha that just left? The one that hit your colleagues?" He asked them and they slowly nodded their heads, even though they didn't know where the alpha was heading to with that. "He came here to search for Lucy. I just found out that she is missing." He took a pause to exhale, before continuing. "So, now, we have to search everywhere for her too. I'm so worried about her, and I want you guys to search every nook and cranny of the area, and you must all see her." After he finished talking, the guards all chorused, "yes, Alpha!" With th
"No!" Sharon crossed her hands on her chest, and looked away from Stanley, who was already fuming in anger. Stanley's frown deepened as he stared at her. "What do you mean no? I am not asking you to, I am telling you. You have to release Lucy! I'm not debating on it." He pointed his index finger at her, with his eyes blazing at her. She slowly turned her head to face him. Anyone that saw him that moment, would have definitely known that he was so angry to the extent that he could kill Sharon, but she didn't care at all. "What if I don't? What will-" she started asking, but stopped when Stanley suddenly dashed towards her, holding her neck. He started pressing his fingers on her neck, looking like he was going to strangle her anytime soon. "St- sto-op, Stanley. Please." She started grunting, holding his hand to reduce the pressure on her neck, but he wasn't in for that. It was until when she looked like she was going to die any minute, when he released his grip around
Because of the fact that Lucy was sleep starved, she slept off on the rider's back, but he didn't mind. He could tell that she was really tired, and she had passed through a whole lot. An hour after she got on his horse, they got to the place she described to him; a few feet from Darren's pack. "Um, lady. We are here." He slowly nudged at her to wake up, doing it carefully. When she heard his voice, her eyes slowly opened, as she scanned everywhere. After she realised that she was about to get him, her eyes widened and a smile appeared on her face. "Oh wow. Thank you sir, thank you!" She squealed as he helped her off the horse. She thanked him, and skipped away, her heart racing as she got closer to the house, her home. Alpha Darren, who was on the field, trying to practice his skills, instantly dropped the sword that was trapped in his fingers. He caught a whiff of Lucy's scent and that shocked him, because he couldn't just believe that she was around. He tur
