KATHERINE
"No Katherine, you can't go. You can't leave with Alpha King Derek, there has to be a way." Marina was pacing, almost like someone that had a pair attack inside her tiny home but that was once my shelter and home. "Oh great, do you have an idea how I'm supposed to avoid 'The Alpha King' the one that would go to the ends of the Earth to find what belongs to him?" I questioned with a sarcastic smile as I out my little belongings inside of a sling bag. The Alpha king had given me the rest of the day to say my farewells and pack my belongings as we would be journeying back to his pack the next day. He had been asked if letting me go to gather my things weren't a mistake but he had said in a tone loud and clear: "I'm not worried about that, she won't try to escape. And even if she does, she'll never be too far to find." The smile on his lips was too disturbing and if I thought the blazing of Xavier's eyes was dangerous when his inner wolf peeked, then there are simply no words for Alpha Derek. His eyes depicted that of a cold and dark room, icy interior and exterior with a wall set inside of them that no one would ever try to get close to. It makes me wonder what his eyes would look like when he was under the Alpha's influence, channeling his inner wolf. "I do not know but I'm just hoping there's a way." Tears were streaming down Marina's eyes as I folded my clothes into the sling bag. "Marina, I'll be fine." I found myself comforting her. I'm the one that needed comforting but scratch that. "At least, let me treat your wounds before you leave. This might be the last time I see you but if you get the opportunity, come see me okay?" I nodded and let her tend my wounds, I spent the rest of the evening with her and at dawn the next day, I and Marina were waiting right in front of the pack Central. It would have absolutely been better if she hadn't insisted to come with me but though Marina was a softie, she was also difficult to dissuade once she set her mind to something hence all my lectures of seeing no reason in her coming to see me off was all pouring water on a rock. "It's a good thing you didn't have to keep me waiting, I detest lousiness naturally." The Alpha King mentioned naturally as he walked out of the pack palace heading for the gate, baring farewell to everyone. I just followed with my head bowed in the midst of his soldiers with Marina clinging to me. "Marina, I'm afraid this is how far you are allowed to go. I'll be fine, I promise." I but my tongues at what I just said, here I was promising that I was going to be fine when I didn't even know exactly what was waiting for me in an entire new pack. Well, there was absolutely one way to find out. We kept walking and my knees began hurting that I just had to ask the question that was lingering at the tip of my tongue. "Are we travelling by foot?" I questioned to no one in particular, after all I was standing in the midst of soldiers, servants none the less and I expected an answer from anyone of them if they were kind enough to give it anyways. "I guess no one would be answering." I mumbled after waiting a few minutes for an answer and none came out. "Spread out." I heard someone, presumably the leader of the soldiers shouting out orders and then I finally realized what they were about doing Someone should please wake me up and tell me this isn't happening. Are they returning to their pack in their wolf form? How long would I be able to run in my weak omega wolf form before I eventually die. In few seconds, the crackling of bones and howls rented the air and I was the only one—i and the Alpha though— still in human form around them and they all had their eyes fixated on me like I did something wrong. "What?" I questioned spreading out my palms towards them. "I can't run for more than 10 minutes in my wolf form so no, I can't do this." I stated or more like pleaded. "Listen to me, Omega." Claws were on my neck and I was staring into the dark valley of the Alpha's eyes, how did he ended up in front of me? He was at the front—oh, the devil speed of Alphas. "I don't care how you'll get to my pack, in foot or in paws but you'll have to get there and you'll have to get there today. So start while you're at it." He groaned before releasing my neck and blood trickles out of the place where his fingers once were. I had no other choices than to change into my wolf form, there's no way I'm walking. They were all sprinting but I was far behind them. My wolf, Nala, was breathing heavily as it seemed like she would pass out anytime soon. At first, she was excited to be one with nature but after few minutes of running nonstop, she became stressed. Just when I was sure that I was about dying,g I spotted a giant gate and they were headed there. We were close and that gave my wolf the reassurance and the strength she needed to finish up but once I was inside I fell and began breathing heavily. "You're awake, welcome to The Green Oak Pack. I'm Eve and I would be helping you through out your course of been Alpha Derek's breeder." A voice filtered through my thoughts and my senses came alive. I had passed out but I made it. "Thank you." "Hold on, did you say breeder?" I questioned snapping my head towards her direction. "Yes, and that's what you're here for."KATHERINE"Okay. How is that possible? I'd rather have my brain splattered all over this room than accept to be a breeder." I stated, standing up from the bed abruptly as I stared at her , my eyes widening in jorror."Well girlie, when you got sold, you weren't given options on what to be wen you get here. You're rather lucky that you weren't recruited for cleaning and brushing of the toilet floors or the pack palace floors. You received the fair end so you should be grateful." I ran my fingers down my hairs as I heaved a sigh up and down trying to control myself and any sanity that I might have left."This is ridiculous, this is so ridiculous." I walked up to the window and took in my surroundings. It depicted dark and cold just like how their Alpha was and that was the same situation with the inside.Infact, I apologize for saying that the inside of this mansion is way more eerie and dark than the outside. It gets worse as you go deeper."It is?" The lady asked and I couldn't fathom
KATHERINE. "That is not possible! My parents aren't murderers." I stood up abruptly dropping the steaming hot tea on his table glaring at Beta Edward as he seemed to snap at a sensitive spot inside of my head. "Calm down, Katherine. It's a lot to take in." He coaxed as he walked over to my side. "Don't tell me to calm down! You just told me that my parents might be murderers so forgive me if I can't act like everything is fine and nothing is wrong with that." I screeched, I'm sure that I was going to have a panic attack or better still pass out if someone doesn't hold me down. "I just want you to know that you getting hysterical wouldn't raise your parents or his parents from the dead." Edward hushed and that was a fair point that brought me to sealing my lips. "When you put it like that, it makes sense. But that also applies to the Alpha, punishing me for it doesn't bring either of them back." I clicked my lips as I took another long sip of the herbal tea. Whatever is in thi
KATHERINE “You should eat so as not to get the Alpha pissed.” Eve strode towards me, stopping briefly to shake her head as she effortlessly dropped a glass of coffee on the desk before me.I wondered for the first time if I made the right choice. He asked me to suck it up since making a pup was my only reason for being here. I didn’t exactly have a choice either. “If I need to eat anything, I’ll get it myself.” I chided with a forced smile and she wagged a brow, as if wanting to burst into a fit of unbearable laughter. “You want me to get killed?” As she asked I just kept a straight face. I didn’t care whatever he’s to do to her. I just want to have some time to myself and get my head straight. Which includes not eating either. That being the least of my problems. “I think you should take your leave. You will only die if you choose to confess to him. My mouth is sealed.” I cleared my throat and started, a little too eager for the space I was yearning. For a second, her face depi
KATHERINE I ran. I don’t know how I did it but I only breathed until I was under the sanctity of my room. I backed the door as I dropped effortlessly to the floor, my heart still beating loudly against my chest in remembrance of the mess created back there. My eyes stayed wide open, my ears perked up at the same time as I listened for any suspicious sound or footsteps whatsoever. I almost had a panic attack right there in his room and if I hadn’t escaped just in time, I could have collapsed. The way his feet sank into the glasses taking the injury in my stead was a nemesis on its own. It was so scary I couldn’t process the right thing to say, I just had to run but I am feeling bad about it right now. After all, he got hurt because of me. A knock on the door flew my heart out of my chest and likewise has me flinching up to my feet. “Who’s that?” I asked and faced the door with my trembling body. Are his men here to drag me to the farthest dungeon? Did he order to have my head? O
KATHERINE “I’m sorry for my grave mistake.” Was what I started my next morning with. Immediately I woke up, I chanted at Derek’s doorstep for no less than five minutes before I was then free to retire to my room. “Sorry but you are not allowed to come in.” I was barely halfway into the kitchen when I got stopped by the group of pack house’s chefs. Do they not understand how boring it is staying in my room all day long alone? “I’m not about to touch anything. Well, just here for one or two chores.” I coaxed as I walked past them. “We have enough people to sort out every chore. In fact, we are almost done and the meal will be served soon. Ms, I’ll suggest you leave before the Hybrid Alpha manages to see you.” The particular lady who had tried to stop me ran forward and fell into steps with me. She looks composed but her face is telling otherwise. Not only hers, the rest included. “He’s not going to come. Seriously? See your faces becoming so pale with fear.” I looked at
KATHERINE“W-hat?!” The way I screamed was terrifying to my own ears. I slightly peeked a tiny glance into the room and my jaw was agape. There's no way I could convince myself it's just his shadow when his figure is looking so huge and clear. Hybrid King Derek. Damn it, I've gotten so used to qualifying him as an Alpha. His fucking first time in my room and I feel so hot from the inside as I mustered the courage and brisk walk in.“W-hat are you doing here?” I asked and faced him with my stammering tone on the lose. Right, looking as my eyes was fixated down my feet I could not bare to face him.He walked over to my side and stopped abruptly only when he had walked past me. I tried not to look back. These chefs implanting fear inside me is a great mistake, now I look no different from a toddler before her father after commiting a huge atrocity.“Henceforth…” he began and I stared ahead feigning unaffected. “For a faster result, every three days, I shall expect you on my bed at ni
KATHERINEI looked like a stripper. One stare at my reflection in the mirror and I wanted to cover my eyes in shame. I’ve never seen a lingerie or wore one. And that’s because there was never a need for it. But now, there is. Unlike the people who wear it for their lovers as a surprise when the night time for pleasure comes by, I’m wearing this for a total stranger.Right, I still don’t know him and I doubt I ever will. “None of this is happening.” I gulped taking myself in once again. I feel so exposed and cold. Concluded that I needed to get out of this thing clinging onto me like a second skin pretty fast, I fetched a jacket from the closet to cover myself as I walked my way out of my room. My hands tightened against my chest as I walked, eyes diverting every seconds to watch out for any passerby. When I walked into King Derek’s room, he was there this time. Hands crossed behind him staring out of the window. I momentarily paused. Then I proceeded onto the bed without been told
KATHERINE She was right but to me, she shouldn’t have gone to such a dangerous length. It was clear and evident he despised the color red when his face suddenly turned red. Does she know how hard I had to struggle against him before he released me? “You could have said it by mouth. Do you even know how tough it must have been for me in there?” I slammed my closet back open, picking a plain white lingerie this time around. I don’t care if it wouldn’t make me presentable enough, I’m not endangering my life once more in a roll.“It’s just for you to get closer to him. Wait a second, you’re now so scared of him?” At first she was saying then midway, she almost yelled, disbelief smearing her face. “Who wouldn’t be.” I strutted out of the room, ignoring the annoying laughter that thundered in my room against my departure. She’s not so innocent after all. She knows what she’s doing. It was like any other night on his bed. Rough pounding. Merciless duration. An air filled with restless
