KATHERINE

"No Katherine, you can't go. You can't leave with Alpha King Derek, there has to be a way." Marina was pacing, almost like someone that had a pair attack inside her tiny home but that was once my shelter and home.

"Oh great, do you have an idea how I'm supposed to avoid 'The Alpha King' the one that would go to the ends of the Earth to find what belongs to him?" I questioned with a sarcastic smile as I out my little belongings inside of a sling bag.

The Alpha king had given me the rest of the day to say my farewells and pack my belongings as we would be journeying back to his pack the next day.

He had been asked if letting me go to gather my things weren't a mistake but he had said in a tone loud and clear:

"I'm not worried about that, she won't try to escape. And even if she does, she'll never be too far to find." The smile on his lips was too disturbing and if I thought the blazing of Xavier's eyes was dangerous when his inner wolf peeked, then there are simply no words for Alpha Derek.

His eyes depicted that of a cold and dark room, icy interior and exterior with a wall set inside of them that no one would ever try to get close to. It makes me wonder what his eyes would look like when he was under the Alpha's influence, channeling his inner wolf.

"I do not know but I'm just hoping there's a way." Tears were streaming down Marina's eyes as I folded my clothes into the sling bag.

"Marina, I'll be fine." I found myself comforting her. I'm the one that needed comforting but scratch that.

"At least, let me treat your wounds before you leave. This might be the last time I see you but if you get the opportunity, come see me okay?" I nodded and let her tend my wounds, I spent the rest of the evening with her and at dawn the next day, I and Marina were waiting right in front of the pack Central.

It would have absolutely been better if she hadn't insisted to come with me but though Marina was a softie, she was also difficult to dissuade once she set her mind to something hence all my lectures of seeing no reason in her coming to see me off was all pouring water on a rock.

"It's a good thing you didn't have to keep me waiting, I detest lousiness naturally." The Alpha King mentioned naturally as he walked out of the pack palace heading for the gate, baring farewell to everyone.

I just followed with my head bowed in the midst of his soldiers with Marina clinging to me.

"Marina, I'm afraid this is how far you are allowed to go. I'll be fine, I promise." I but my tongues at what I just said, here I was promising that I was going to be fine when I didn't even know exactly what was waiting for me in an entire new pack.

Well, there was absolutely one way to find out.

We kept walking and my knees began hurting that I just had to ask the question that was lingering at the tip of my tongue.

"Are we travelling by foot?" I questioned to no one in particular, after all I was standing in the midst of soldiers, servants none the less and I expected an answer from anyone of them if they were kind enough to give it anyways.

"I guess no one would be answering." I mumbled after waiting a few minutes for an answer and none came out.

"Spread out." I heard someone, presumably the leader of the soldiers shouting out orders and then I finally realized what they were about doing

Someone should please wake me up and tell me this isn't happening. Are they returning to their pack in their wolf form? How long would I be able to run in my weak omega wolf form before I eventually die.

In few seconds, the crackling of bones and howls rented the air and I was the only one—i and the Alpha though— still in human form around them and they all had their eyes fixated on me like I did something wrong.

"What?" I questioned spreading out my palms towards them.

"I can't run for more than 10 minutes in my wolf form so no, I can't do this." I stated or more like pleaded.

"Listen to me, Omega." Claws were on my neck and I was staring into the dark valley of the Alpha's eyes, how did he ended up in front of me? He was at the front—oh, the devil speed of Alphas.

"I don't care how you'll get to my pack, in foot or in paws but you'll have to get there and you'll have to get there today. So start while you're at it." He groaned before releasing my neck and blood trickles out of the place where his fingers once were.

I had no other choices than to change into my wolf form, there's no way I'm walking.

They were all sprinting but I was far behind them. My wolf, Nala, was breathing heavily as it seemed like she would pass out anytime soon.

At first, she was excited to be one with nature but after few minutes of running nonstop, she became stressed.

Just when I was sure that I was about dying,g I spotted a giant gate and they were headed there. We were close and that gave my wolf the reassurance and the strength she needed to finish up but once I was inside I fell and began breathing heavily.

"You're awake, welcome to The Green Oak Pack. I'm Eve and I would be helping you through out your course of been Alpha Derek's breeder." A voice filtered through my thoughts and my senses came alive. I had passed out but I made it.

"Thank you."

"Hold on, did you say breeder?" I questioned snapping my head towards her direction.

"Yes, and that's what you're here for."
