Audrey’s POV

I knew something was happening today. Trudeau had vaguely mentioned something about a festival earlier in the day while he ranted about a meeting he had called last minute and was regretting.

I stayed in my room like I did on the few days I wasn’t busy in the garden. Today especially, he had asked me not to visit the garden so I could prepare for the evening event. It was going to be my ever first official appearance. I thought about my various clothing choices, all of which were clothes I got from staying with Blue Lotus. I picked out a blue dress. It was the sky’s color after a nice shower of rain, the faintest color of velvet that you could imagine.
