Zion’s POV

It was almost ten the next morning when we reached Athens and I had a tough time explaining to the twins about the ten-hour time difference between LA and Athens. I noticed the dazed look on Andrea’s face as she looked out of the car window. Maybe she was feeling nostalgic! It wasn’t easy to forget the time we had spent here with one another. I hadn’t, and I knew she didn’t either. It was here we had found love! If only I hadn’t overreacted that day when she came to me.

“Wow! I love your Athens, Dad!” said an awestruck Adrian, bringing me out of my daze. I looked at him and smiled, feeling hopeful. Maybe I could coax them to stay forever.

“I don’t think your mom likes it much!” Yes, I was fishing for answers. I wanted to know how she felt about returning here after so many years. This was the place she belonged to! She turned to give me a wary look, and I knew she wouldn’t answer me. But for how long, Andrea?

‘Soon I’ll have you in my arms, pinned under me, naked, and m

Andrea’s POV The twins were exhausted after the strenuous flight, and Zion went to the kitchen to make a quick brunch for them. I helped them freshen up in the meantime and settle in their room. I could see the effort Zion had taken to get a room ready for them. It wasn’t there when I was here last. Did he have it ready for the twins or for his would-be children after his marriage to Elena? “Mom, I love my room. Dad has stuck my favorite player’s photo in the closet.” I followed Zayden to their walk-in closet and gasped with wonder at the beautiful poster. “Yes, it’s very thoughtful of him.” Maybe Zion had the room done recently, only for the twins. Everything looked brand new, and it was custom-made with the twins’ interests in mind. “I’ll help your dad in the kitchen. Don’t fall asleep.” I walked out to check up on Zion. Despite being busy since the moment I stepped into his penthouse, I couldn’t erase his words from my mind. They kept echoing inside my head like a broken record

Andrea’s POV How long could I avoid going into his bedroom when I knew he had kept my luggage there? I opened the door, this time ignoring the bed and storming inside straight to the closet. Just as I had expected. Zion had placed all my luggage in his walk-in closet. I dashed inside furiously to take them away to some other room when my glance fell upon the gigantic mirror inside. There was a sticky note with a message stuck there. I leaned over and took off the note. Did Zion leave it for me? You’re moving into my bedroom. No arguments. Delia will join us for dinner tonight. - Zion.I frowned at the note. Why couldn’t he decline her? I couldn’t face his evil stepmother again! Now I didn’t know what to do. Maybe I would move out when Delia left. Anyway, with Zion at his office, I could rest in peace for a couple of hours. He wouldn’t come over right now to force himself on me! Would he? However, the moment I lay down, all the memories came gushing back. Despite being exhausted

Andrea’s POV “Mom, Addy has stomach pain. He’s dying!” Zayden announced, running into the kitchen, and stopping our verbal combat. Zion got worked up, his face grim, as if he was on the verge of a panic attack. “Oh! I’ll just call the doctor!” He took out his phone, but I grabbed his hand to stop him. Knowing the kids well, I knew of their exaggerated statements.“No, need to call the doctor. He won’t die from stomach pain! I’ll give him medicine right away!” I released his hand as if scalded and walked away to the kids’ room. Picking up the unopened medicine box I had packed up for the trip, I went inside. The other two trooped in after me to watch what was going on. I found Adrian on the bed, clutching at his stomach, and doubled up in pain. “Mom, is there a bug in my tummy? Will I die?” “There might be, but you’ll survive. What’s this medicine for? It’ll help you fight it. Did you pass loose stools today?” He nodded with a groan. “Very loose, watery!” “You’ll have bland food

Andrea’s POV I arranged the hors d’oeuvres on the dining table like a buffet with adequate drinks on the sides. Zion was the only one who helped me, while the others eyed us with jealousy. I flashed a smile at all of them, although I seethed inwardly at their judgemental looks. “Please help yourselves,” I urged them with a sweet smile pasted on my lips. “Please join us, Andrea!” said one of them. “I am Georgia. Aunt Delia is my mom’s best friend.” She leaned in to introduce herself. I smiled at the friendly woman, who looked heavily pregnant. “I’ll have it later with my boys.” Zion smiled and walked away to the kids’ room to check up on them. “Andrea, shouldn’t you attend to all your guests?” Delia’s scornful voice resonated around, making my blood boil. She came towards me and I somehow had the feeling this was the opportunity she was seeking.“I will, Delia. Why don’t you relax a little?” I flashed her a bright smile and handed her a plate to serve herself. “Please feel at home

Andrea’s POV Throughout dinner, I could feel Zion’s appreciative gaze on me. It made the butterflies dance in my stomach with excitement. I could see how satisfied Zion was with the way things went tonight. His gaze held not only admiration but a deep longing as well! I was sure I wasn’t imagining the heavy sexual tension between us now that we were all alone here. With the guests gone and the twins fast asleep, I wondered if I could avoid him for long. I needed something to divert my mind right now. I couldn’t end up having a steamy night with him!“I have to check out a few office spaces around for Ratio Architects. With most of my dedicated employees wanting to relocate with the company, I have a lot on my plate now. I can’t leave the twins here in the penthouse all alone and go office hunting!” I didn’t want to take it up with him right now, but how long would I wait? Surely, he didn’t expect me to babysit all day! “You don’t have to look for an office space. You will use a vaca

Zion’s POV The feel of Andrea’s soft body in my arms satisfied my heart. This was what I always wanted, to feel her close to my heart forever! I knew my life was fucked up and I couldn’t offer Andrea what she wanted. Yet my heart wanted to hold on to her and the twins forever. Delia’s parting shot echoed in my mind all the time. I’m going now, but if you don’t throw those brats and their bitch of a mother out soon, I will ensure they don’t live to see the next month! Delia never gave out useless threats. I couldn’t involve the police without evidence! If I had known she would threaten to kill my family, I would have recorded her threats! I wasn’t prepared at all this time. I knew she was upset when her plans to insult Andrea and send her packing failed. Zion’s POV Delia laughed instead of answering me, but her shrewd, evil laughter lacked mirth. It was as if she wanted to confuse me further. She wanted to keep me hanging! “Why don’t you figure it out, stepson? Or are you that dumb?” She disconnected the call abruptly while I gaped at my phone. I was still clueless about her motive. Obviously, I hadn’t expected her to blurt it out, but at least she could have given me a hint!“Dad!” Adrian’s voice brought me out of my daze and I glanced at their table to see him calling me. The food had arrived, and they were waiting for me. I smiled at him and walked over to my little family. “Sorry to keep you waiting. You could have started!” “Mom wanted to wait for you!” said Zayden with a grin. My jaws dropped, and I glanced at Andrea just to see her cheeks color. “Oh, shall we start?” I served them and fed Andrea the first bite of my pizza slice before munching on the rest. I hadn’t expected the twins to notice, but they did and chuckled, no

Zion’s POV I immediately accepted the call, wanting to end this mystery once and for all. I still couldn’t remember where I had heard his name. So the only way was to deal with him directly. “Hello, son!” croaked a feeble voice at the other end. I immediately recognized the voice. He was my grandpa’s old lawyer who used to come home when my grandpa was alive. I had last seen Mr. Alesci three years before my grandpa’s death. “Hello, Mr. Alesci! It’s been over a decade since I heard from you.” There was a tremendous bout of coughing at the other end, making me frown. Was he unwell? “Yes, son. Can you meet me urgently? Meet me at Zappio Plaza Hotel, near Zappio Station right away! Please ensure no one knows about this visit.” The call disconnected, and I quickly wrapped up my work. Packing up everything, I locked the office securely before leaving for the day. I released Midas, preferring to drive down to the hotel myself. I didn’t want even Midas to know in case he blurted out ever

  • A Bittersweet Revenge - Fighting The Reckless Billionaire   Epilogue

Andrea’s POV There was excitement in the air as we drove down to Zion’s beachside villa in the Athenian Riviera. The twins and their pups couldn’t contain their exuberance. The prospect of meeting Zane and Angel after so long excited them beyond words. My pregnancy hormones had settled down and, apart from a little fatigue, I had no other symptoms of the first trimester. Zion took good care of me and employed lots of help to organize our dream wedding. Despite the short notice, I wasn’t stressed at all. Our event coordinator, Ms. Pappas, was extremely efficient and handled everything well. My wedding dress was perfect, just the way I wanted, and so was the decor. Despite my hectic work schedule, she completed every task effortlessly. Ever since she took over, even Zion could relax a lot. “Mom, when will Zane and Angel come over? Tomorrow?” asked Adrian hopefully. “No, after two days.” “Why can’t they come tomorrow? We’ll be bored,” said Zayden. “There’s so much to do, you won’t

Andrea’s POV The next morning, Zion took me to the gynecologist for a proper checkup. We found out I was two months pregnant! “How can that be possible when I felt no symptoms of pregnancy?” “Sometimes the only symptom is the missed monthly cycle. Since you have an irregular cycle, you might not have realized it. There might be subtle signs that you didn’t notice.” I nodded, agreeing with the doctor. “Yes, I had been a little preoccupied with work!” “It’s quite normal not to have symptoms. Don’t worry, the fetus is growing well. Follow the diet chart and folic acid supplements and you’ll be fine.” Zion released a sigh of relief and insisted I took the day off. With the twins at school and Zion at work, I was bored all morning. A call from Grandpa Vincent brought a smile to my lips. “So, how is everything going?” I smiled, knowing what he wanted to know. He wanted to know when we were planning our wedding! “Everything is fabulous here, Grandpa. The twins have settled down at s

Andrea’s POV The music slowed to a romantic number, and the twins walked away to watch a lighthouse near the coast. I wrapped my arms around Zion’s shoulders and swayed to the music. The temperatures had dipped after sunset, but the heat radiating from his body kept me warm. “This is what I wanted!” he whispered, planting a kiss on my neck as we caught a moment with one another. We were the only couple dancing on the deck. Anacá escaped Eros the moment the romantic music started. Although I was curious about what was going on between them, I kept mum. “This is the best part of the day!” I admitted, resting my head on his shoulders. His arm around me drew me closer, and it felt like bliss. The mesmerizing location, the gentle movement of the yacht as it cut across the bay, surging ahead, the moonlight above and the sparkling lights all around heightened my emotions. The day’s exhaustion diminished a little, and I felt better. “No, the best part is yet to come!” I looked up to see

Zion’s POV The entire week, I was busy planning our getaway to the Schinias Bay area on the eastern shores of Athens. I had been there almost twenty-five years ago when my mom was alive. The place was secluded then, but Eros informed me about the development of snorkeling activities around Nea Makri and the hidden bays of the Marathon Cape Area. He wanted to accompany us with Anacá, and Andrea willingly agreed. I didn’t mind too, as he was more knowledgeable than I was. “Are we going to the beach with Blaze, Chase, and their mom?” gasped Zayden in disbelief. Anacá’s pet golden retriever, Lucy, their mom, would obviously accompany us too since she never went out without her pet. “Yes, Uncle Eros and Aunt Anacá will accompany us also!” I added, making them grin. “I love the plan. You’re the coolest dad!” said Adrian. “I’m glad, buddy! Now help your mom pack up!” They rushed to the kitchen to force Andrea to pack while I smiled at their enthusiasm.Despite living in LA, it was surpr

Andrea’s POV Zion helped to expedite the shifting of Ratio Architects to Athens in twenty days. With his experience, the move happened so smoothly; I was impressed. “Mr. Lazarus will educate you about the work permits and visa process. I’ll see you at lunch.” I smiled, but couldn’t thank him for his efforts in front of his lawyer. After Zion left, I was extremely busy with the visa process. Afterward, I had a meeting with Mr. Aetos, the GM of ZC Architects, followed by a meeting with Mr. Barlos, the GM of Conrad. With both companies doing well, I was still considering a merger for ease of operation. I would have to consult Zion before making a final decision. My new PA, Cora Adamis, was an intern and fumbled with the work. As such, I missed my efficient PA, Roberta, back in LA. It was just a matter of a month. She would be here to handle my schedule like before. I couldn’t wait to connect with my old team of Ratio! We had grown into a family! Cora came in and handed me the folder

  • A Bittersweet Revenge - Fighting The Reckless Billionaire   Chapter Sixty-Nine – A Dream Life With Zion

Andrea’s POV The next morning, I was in the brightest of spirits, eager to go to the twins’ school and then to the office. The twins were more excited than I was at the prospect of being alone at home. With their charm, they had Jenna and Melinda dancing to their tunes in such a brief span of time. Their pets were no less, and I panicked at the thought of the mayhem the quartet would create at home. “Don’t worry about them. It’s just a matter of a few days. When their school starts, they would need to leave with us.” I nodded, and we soon left. Zion’s eyes swept over the entire length of me and I blushed at his lust-filled scrutiny. I was still getting adjusted to this horny side of his nature that he had effectively kept hidden from me for so long. How? I had no idea!“Did you have to wear that skirt? I’m getting an erection just at the sight of you!” he chuckled as he drove on. I rolled my eyes at him, glancing down to check the bulge growing at an alarming rate. “Tomorrow onwar

Andrea’s POV I tucked the twins into bed and walked out of the room, only to find Blaze and Chase following me out as well. “Where do you think you’re going? It’s sleepy time for you too. Go, sleep!” They trotted off to their cots, disappointed that their playtime was over.At last, I heaved a sigh of relief and walked over to our bedroom, where Zion had been waiting for me for over an hour. Surely, he would be annoyed with me. I wondered what he had planned for us! I couldn’t wait to see. The moment I walked into the bedroom, Zion grunted with frustration. “I thought you were planning to sleep with Blaze and Chase tonight!” I chuckled as I closed the door. “They were planning to follow me here. I swear these pups have more energy than the twins.” I turned around and gasped to see him right in front of me. He picked my hand up and led me towards the coffee table in one corner. How had I not seen it before? It was decorated with heart-shaped balloons and a white drape over which lay

Andrea’s POV We walked hand in hand into the cozy café at the clubhouse. With the twins eager to start practice immediately after enrolment, we were free to enjoy ourselves. He led me to a corner seat, and we poured over the menu card, excited to be on an outing together. It wasn’t an outing in the actual sense of the term, but for me, it was like a surprise date with the man I loved. “What do you want to have?” I asked, only to find him gazing at me instead of the menu card. “You.” I blushed yet rolled my eyes. “I’m not available right now. Choose between coffee or drinks.” He groaned as if he didn’t know it already. “Shall we have a coffee date, then?” My heart skipped a beat on hearing something I was dying for. Yes, for the last seventeen years, I had been dying to go on a date with him. This time, as his fiancée, when I had started dreaming of a life together with him, he was abducted. “Are you sure? I don’t know if you want a date with me. You have always left me hanging!

Zion’s POV The water cascaded down our naked bodies as we stood wrapped up in each other’s arms under the shower. This was a dream I had been wanting to fulfill since the day I met her! I hadn’t expected it to be fulfilled after seventeen years when I had almost given up hope! My hands roamed freely on her delicate skin, feeling her curves. “Mine!” I whispered hoarsely as I trailed my mouth to her neck, her throat, and down to her breasts. My fingers inched towards her slick pu*sy and plunged in. “Oh! Zion, please!” She begged me to please her, but the pain in my leg disturbed me. I couldn’t do justice to my dreams in this position. “Let’s continue in the bathtub! It’s more comfortable!” She groaned when I released her, leading her toward the bathtub. I felt a little disappointed that I couldn’t please her the way I wanted to. “Are you in pain, Zion?” She turned to glance at my injury as she filled the tub. I wondered how she knew. “A little. It’ll be fine once we’re in the tub
