Chapter Sixty-Two – Leaving No Stones Unturned

Andrea’s POV

Knox arrived in Athens after my distress call. Ever since Officer Alexopoulos arrived on my doorstep, fear clutched at my heart realizing what was going on. Zion had foolishly stepped into a trap. This time, Delia’s family had effectively abducted him. What would I do now? How would I rescue him?

The Hellenic Police Force, Crime Branch, and the Interpol were looking for him everywhere. I haven’t had a moment of respite all day. It was midnight, and the twins were fast asleep. Despite having police protection, I anxiously waited for Knox’s arrival.

“Any news?” he asked, hugging me close. Tears fell from my eyes as I shook my head.

“No.” The cops had raided Gavriil Kayakos’s building in downtown Athens, where he lived. They searched all his nightclubs too, but there was no sign of Zion anywhere.
