When she opened her eyes, he was lifting her carrying her up the stairs. He was smiling as she kissed that beautiful dimple of his. Safira looked deep into his penetrating gaze.

Adonis took the two-hour drive to the city in his white Mercedes coup. It gave him time to think and ponder over his and Safira's decision to keep his marriage a secret for now.
