Mr. Lucas stared at the document in his hand, his eyes scanning the pages with a growing sense of dread. He had submitted this proposal to the investors just yesterday, and now...

"No, no, no, no, no," he muttered to himself, his voice rising in panic.

His assistant, Sarah, poked her head into the room. "Sir, is everything okay?"

Mr. Lucas looked up, his face ashen. "Get me the original document, the one we worked on last week. Now!”

Sarah's eyes widened, but she quickly nodded and rushed out of the room.

Mr. Lucas paced back and forth, his mind racing. How could he have been so careless? He had double-checked everything, or so he thought.

Sarah returned with the original document, and Mr. Lucas snatched it from her hands.

Mr Lucas had made more than one original of the documents but he kept them aside and kept only one in his study room which Maya took and replaced.

He compared the two documents, his heart sinking with each passing moment.
