Third person's POV “So… are you going to tell me why we snuck to get that gas?” Alaric asked. “I did it for Nikolai. He loves doing stuff like that.”“Hmmm,” Alaric hummed as his thumb caressed Adrian's hip. “That still doesn't explain why you did it,” Alaric said. Adrian pushed out a defeated breath. “I did it for Nikolai. He's been looking for his fated mate. He gets excited at every event we go to. He gets his hopes up that each event will be the one, and he'll find his mate. Unfortunately, he's met with disappointment at each one, and time's almost up. I saw how sad he was when we came out of the woods, and I know how much he loves lighting bonfires. Although his father has banned him from lighting them at home, and I'm sure he can figure out why,” Adrian said with a chuckle. “Yeah, he's a pyro!” Alaric said, and they both laughed. The sound of Adrian's laughter caused Alaric's heart to swell. The Young Alpha pulled Adrian to a stop, turned him, and pulled him against his
Third person's POV Alaric pushed Adrian behind him and growled at the Alpha. “I don't care who you are, or what pack you're the Alpha of, but you will watch your fucking tongue when talking about my mate!” Alaric said angrily. Aldrich's hand moved so fast that neither of them saw it moving until his hand was wrapped around Alaric's throat, and the young Alpha's feet were dangling off the ground. Adrian swung for the Alpha's face, but once again, the Alpha moved too fast, and the back of his hand hit his face so hard that everything briefly went dark, and he fell to the ground. Alaric's hands frantically clawed at Aldrich's hand wrapped around his throat while his feet dangled in the air. Aldrich brought Alaric's face inches from his and smirked. “It appears your father hasn't taught you any manners. Maybe I need to teach you some,” Aldrich said. As soon as the last word left his mouth, someone jumped on his back and bit into his shoulder, causing Aldrich to drop Alaric. Nikolai
Third person's POV Alaric panicked as he knelt and looked his mate over frantically. The dazed state of Adrian was terrifying, and the bruise forming on his cheekbone just under his eye looked painful. The bleeding cut split through the middle of the rapidly forming bruise had the Alpha acting like his mate was bleeding out. His heart hammered in his chest as he tenderly wiped the wound with his shirt, completely forgetting that his wolf could heal minor wounds. “Baby! Talk to me. Are you okay?” Alaric asked as he took his mate's face into his hands. Adrian's heart clenched when he realized his mate barely saw him. He was looking straight at him, but somehow, all he saw was the wound on his cheek that no longer hurt. Adrian's head lifted off the ground and further stunned the Alpha by capturing his lips. The Alpha's eyes fluttered closed, and the heavy weight resting on his shoulders disappeared as he melted into the kiss. He finally became aware of his mate's hands touching his f
Adrian's POV The mouth-watering scent of food made my stomach growl. It's almost enough to make me want to go down there, at least to sneak some food and quickly slip back inside without being seen. As tempting as that was, the loud sound of many voices reminded me of how many annoying people were outside, which is why I was still hiding in my room. “Ugh, come on! My stomach is eating itself!” Nikolai groans as he lies sprawled out on my bed, staring at the ceiling while holding his stomach. I growl in frustration as I try on another tie. Everything looks stupid! “This shit's too dressy for me!” I said angrily as I ripped the tie off and threw it on the dresser. I felt like I was suffocating in this stupid shit. I untied the first two buttons of my shirt and tugged on it as I stretched my neck, taking a deep breath. “You're so dramatic! Come on! This year is not so bad. It's at our place this year instead of those dipshits,” Nikolai said as he sat up. “How can you stand to be aro
Adrian's POV Milo clings to my side with a firm grip on my shirt. He nibbles on his lip, trying not to look any visitors in the eyes. Years of abuse from these assholes took a toll on this Innocent little Omega. It was so hard to pull him from his shell. I'm not sure how we did it, but the three of us somehow succeeded and earned his trust. Now, he's a permanent shadow to the three of us, which we happily accept. He's always with one of us during our free time, and 9 out of 10, the three of us are together, which gives him the comfort and security of his three favorite people. It's rare for the three of us not to be together. Nikolai's father always said we're attached at the hip, which makes me wonder how Mr. Muscles ended up out here earlier without us. I look to my right and find Mr. Muscles in quite a predicament—the same one I always find him in at these events. Weston is what every Beta calls the dream catch. He's the biggest Delta one in our territory. He's not only the talle
Third Person's POV Milo nibbles on his lip as he scans the crowd. He wasn't sure he'd come, but he hoped he would. The Omega's eyes carefully move through the crowd, and his heart skips when his eyes land on him. Milo wiggles out of Weston's arms and dashes through the crowd. Timothy stands near the building, far away from the crowd. His eyes scan the area, looking for a certain Omega. His face lights up when Milo bursts from the crowd. It took him a moment to realize just how fast the Omega was running, and he took a few steps back before opening his arms to catch him. Milo collides with Timothy, and they tumble backward into a bush. They roll out of the bush and land between the bush and the pack house with Milo on top.Timothy falls into a fit of giggles as Milo peppers kisses all over his face, telling the Omega how much he missed him. The sound of Timothy's laughter is music to Milo's ears, and he pulls back to look at him. The Omega beneath Milo is beautiful, especially when h
Adrian's POV The closer I get to the drink stand, the further the asshole's smirk spreads. Of all the Alphas, Alaric is the one I hate the most. The asshole made school a nightmare. I got lucky with elementary and middle school; our pack had our own. High school is a different story. They believe it helps create future bonds between packs if their children go to high school together. The idea is that they learn together and become friends so that when they're older, they have connections with other packs instead of just their own. This idea would work if the children from other packs got along, but that's not always the case. Don't get me wrong, some people from different packs get along, but some don't.Some keep to themselves, some make friends, and people like Alaric make other people's lives hell. I missed my own graduation ceremony because me and this dipshit were having it out behind the school. This fucker thought it would be funny to shred my cap and gown and fill my trunk
Third Person's POV Weston was frustrated that Timothy's Alpha refused to discuss any deals on the Omega until it was time to release all of them. Thankfully, they didn't have to wait much longer, and before they knew it, it was time to release the Omegas.Weston hated this part, and so did the rest of his pack. The Omegas from visiting packs had to remain isolated until it was time for them to come out. Once they came out, it was their turn to see if they had a mate there. You could see the hope in their eyes, but you could also see fear. Fear of the unknown. If they have a mate, will he reject or accept them? If he does accept them, will he be nice, or will he use and abuse them like most people do? It wasn't as heartwarming and glamorous for the Omegas to find their mates, but it was worse when they didn't. Any Omegas left without a mate were free grabs for anyone who needed a breeder. The Omegas file out of the pack house and nervously walk through the crowd. Their noses flared a

Third person's POV Adrian pulled his mate into the woods and found a quiet spot, but not for the reason Alaric originally wanted. Adrian leaned back against the tree and tilted his head back and to the side, fully exposing his neck to his Alpha. Alaric's head dipped, and his eyes closed when he found his Beta's scent gland. The Alpha wasted no time pressing his nose against it and covering his face and neck in his mate's scent. The Beta pushed out his calming pheromones with force, allowing his Alpha to forget the hurtful words his father had said to him. Alaric's arms snaked around his mate's waist, and his hand slipped inside his shirt, gliding along his bare back. The tingles under his hands added extra comfort. It allowed him to feel the bond with his hands, making it tangible and grounding him to his mate. The Alpha moved from one side of Adrian's neck to the other, rubbing his face against his scent gland and not stopping until his heart was content. When he was finished, A
Third person's POV The place was packed with all the same people from mating ceremonies and the annual celebration. Everyone was eager to see Alpha Arthur for themselves. They were eager to see what he did with the last purchasable piece of property nearly surrounded by rogue territory. No one could fathom why he would choose that location when the picking was vast, and he could have chosen a more desirable location. The pack house was large and beautiful. Like most pack houses, it backed up to the woods in the center of his territory. The freshly laid sod in the backyard had taken hold nicely, giving a nice thick plush lawn for the children to play in. Spring was finally here, and the temperatures have been above average for this time of the year. All the snow has melted. The grass has begun to grow, leaves have sprouted on the few trees that weren't pines, and the flowers have begun to bloom. The fire pit was stacked high with dry wood and ready to burn. Soft music played in the
Third Person's POV Nikolai isn't sure if the asshole did it on purpose, or if it was a freak accident, but when he opened the door to climb into the backseat of his parents car, he found himself staring into Alaric's eyes.Nikolai swears it was a reflex when his stomach retched. The thought of sitting all cozy next to that asshole even for 30 minutes was nauseating and had him gagging. Nikolai nearly lunged forward into Alaric's lap when his dad swatted him before climbing into the front seat. He was horrified when he heard not only Alaric but also Adrian and his own father snort before laughing at his expense. He would have growled at everyone if his dad hadn't been there. Even though his dad was small, that little Omega sometimes scared him. Nikolai huffed and mumbled under his breath as he climbed into the backseat and pressed his body against the door, trying to keep as much distance as possible between himself and the clown beside him. Nikolai nearly jumped out of his skin wh
Third person's POV Skylar's eyes were closed and a soft smile rested on his face. Goosebumps spread along his body as Weston's fingers lightly trailed his arm, shoulder, neck and back. The Omega was in a blissful state of happiness, lost in his mate's touch, scent and warmth. He had never experienced such affection, and it felt incredible. His Delta's strong hands were surprisingly soft and gentle as they affectionately touched him. Weston couldn't take his eyes off of his mate. The way he lay in his arms, nuzzled in against his chest. Each time he hears the sound of his purr trying to kick on his heart flutters and he holds his breath, hoping to hear the beautiful sound. Unfortunately, Skylar catches himself each time and pulls in his purr. Years of not being allowed to be happy were ingrained in him. There weren't many instances, but the rare occasions where he purred, he learned how unacceptable it was.Lips press against the side of Skylar's face and warmth quickly fills him. Th
Third Person's POV Adrian took Alaric's hand, threading their fingers tightly together, and took one last breath before pushing the door open and leading Alaric outside. Almost immediately Adrian felt everyone's eyes on them. Nikolai's laughter died as soon as his eyes landed on Alaric. Adrian prayed his mate would make it out of this in one piece as he walked toward his family. His father looked indecisive, as if he was unsure whether to pound Alaric's face in, or accept him. Alpha Victor had a blank expression, and Leonard had an amused expression. ‘Probably remembering all the times Alaric stumbled out of his bedroom.’ Adrian thought. Weston's expression mirrors Victor's, and Nikolai looks ready to murder Alaric, which doesn't surprise Adrian. Alaric saw everyone's expression and wasn't the least bit surprised they didn't look happy to see him. He didn't blame them, but he couldn't stop his cockiness from rearing its head. “I'm glad you could finally join us,” Victor said as
Third Person's POV “Now don't you worry about anything! These big men might look scary, but they're a bunch of saps. For example, I don't know if you met Timothy and Milo, but they're two Omegas that love each other very much, but could never take each other as chosen mates because something like that isn't allowed in other places. Those big scary men risked everything to purchase them for their freedom so they can be together, and they would do the same for you and other Omegas.Anyone of them would jump up and risk their lives for those two little Omegas, just like my son, Nikolai, and Adrian would. They might look scary, but they would never hurt you. You have my word, and my word means everything to me. Besides, you're my son-in-law. If anyone hurts you, they'd have to deal with me and Wes. That's a combo no one wants to mess with! I might look small, cute and innocent, but I've taken the commander of this pack down, and the Beta once or twice, and I'd do it again if anyone messe
