2021-06-09 00:12:57"I cant remember the last time i bought a pair if sneakers i should get some." said Raymond hands on the steering as they drove into town.
"How is Helen?"
"She is coping. It will not be easy but she will surpass it.I know she will."
"Thats good. I took care of Dominic so you should not worry."
"If i meet that son of a b***h i will kill him myself."
"He is going to jail. All the happenings of last night at the warehouse i ensured they connect him to the crime scene, he will be gone for a very long time."
"He better." he said pulling over outside a fancy looking boutique, "Are you coming?"
"And be a third wheel?No thanks."
"Please man you have better taste in shoes come choose for me come on." Joshua reluctantly opened the door and got out. The two gentlemen headed into the shop and were glad there were just a few customers loitering around
"Be nice. Dont fight please."
"Tell that to your girlfriend." said Joshua taking a different direction while Raymond tiptoed over to Julia
"I could smell your cologne from a distance. I missed you." she said when he hugged her from behind. She hoped her boss would not walk in on them else it she would be in trouble. Again.
"I'm sorry for that, but i am here now and i missed you too.Its lunch hour now your shift is over right?"
"Yes, does that mean lunch with you?"
"Yes my love shall we?"
"Let me wrap up just be looking around i wont be long." she said taking out her walking stick and that was when Joshua showed up with a pair of black manly sneakers.
"I would like to purchase these before you go." he said to Julia who pretended not to have heard him
"Julia."
"What?"
"I said..."
"I heard you the first time, my shift is over so Chichi will do it for you."
"The shoes are for Raymond. Still want to walk away?" he asked making Julia reluctantly attend to him. Raymond watched as she took the cash carefully counted it her fingers roaming around each note as she did so and wondered how long it had taken her to master such a strategy of counting money because she somehow did her job very well. He felt really blessed to have ever crossed paths with her

"You called father." Helen said walking into her father's study. He looked closely at his little girl who looked like she had hardly slept a wink
"Come. Come sit with me." he said getting up and walking over to the leather couch where he sat with her, "You are unusually quiet. Did something happen?" Helen swallowed hard then looked around avoiding eye contact
"Nothing father. I am just tired thats all, and how are you this morning?"
"I am fine my love. Are you sure nothing happened? You can tell dad you know that right?"
"Yes i do father.I missed you a lot though." she said hugging him before a soft knock interrupted the moment. The two turned to come face to face with Timothy
"Tim...Please come in." said Richard getting up
"I will be in my room dad." With that Helen hastily walked out of the room not sparing Timothy a single glance.
"I ddnt call for you. Did something happen?" asked Richard sitting by his study table before Timothy took the visitor's seat
"Dominic took out Darian and his men. I am unable to understand how he did that all by himself."
"What are you talking about?"
"You seem to nolonger follow the local news boss. Your Dominic took out Darian who once worked with the police to help take down master Jay. What is going on?" Richard looked at him before bellowing in laughter
"Did you drink before coming here? Dominic left to see his sick father. Raymond told me before he left. You must be talking about a different Dominic Tim. Whiskey?" he asked taking out a half full bottle from underneath the table
"Here look at this." said Timothy handing over his phone to a reluctant Richard who received the shock of his life.
"My very own Dominic?! That son of a....does that mean he knows who the so called master Jay is?"
"Most probably boss."
"This is crazy! I had the answer right under my nose how could i have not seen it?" he got up and roamed around, Timothy's gaze not leaving him
"Now listen, i do not know how you will do it but make him talk get answers from him just get him to talk before the police do. I desperately need that guy on my team and i will have him before any of my rivalries do, he has access to each and every weapon manufactured on this earth so i need him, badly." Timothy nodded then left the room, leaving Richard on his own with his bitter thoughts. He had been trying to solve the "masterjay" mystery puzzle for over four years but he just couldn't. Its like the person never existed at all. If he was to archive his political goals he would need a complete team and that included the mystery master who nobody seemed to really know. He had a whole lot to deal with considering he had lost one of his secret weapons and he had to replace him. It was going to be one hell of a job to replace assassin number three and accompanying that unearthing this mystery guy who would complete his team which any politician needed to feel safe and ultimately get to the top.

As soon as they got home, Julia managed to get Mandy to sleep. She had cried the entire journey and she was grateful for the next day being a Sunday meaning no work. The four finally pulled into town with Joshua constantly looking over at Julia via the rear view mirror. Nobody had said a word to the other ever since they took off and they were just but glad to pull over outside the grocery shop to do their business"Call me once you are done." he said to the two who nodded their way out of the car. Helen gave a sigh of relief once they took off glad to finally be alone with Joshua"Who is she?" she asked after a moment of silence"Who..?""The girl...the blind girl. You two looked cozy earlier." The door creaked open revealing a concentrated Raymond. Upon lifting his eyes he met the two gentlemen who were hell-bent on making his life miserable. Joshua peeped from a distance at what was happening by the sea shore. Several men stood ready to leave and a huge private ship floated in the waters all ready to go. Crawling closer to take a good look and possibly hear what was happening, a figure in a work suit being accompanied by two other men approached the others and said unheard words which ended in a handshake. Recording the whole scenario on his phone, he realised who the man in the work-suit was, it was his target Kenneth and he knew he had to strike else he would fail his mission and possibly never get to know the mastermind behind the bombing that wiped out his entire family"Hey Romeo lets go!" one of the men called out as they got into the ship while Kenneth stood by the shore bidding them farewell. Joshua watched as the Romeo guy approached the ready to sail ship then released a bullet which pierced through his neck killing him instantly. Groaning in frustration, Joshua pulled himself to his feet and looked at the dead man before him. He had him, he was moments away from getting his answer but no, one small mistake had cost him and he was back to square one. A gunshot then sounded making him remember what he had left behind. He then ran back to the ship and upon arriving the ship had been driven back to the shore and the door flung open revealing a number of young women flocking out one after the other. Joshua made a slight knock before entering Raymond's house a whole three months later. It had been one hell of a task for all of them to live through the trauma, and even harder to tell Helen since she was pregnant but Raymond did still, she had to know. Julia felt like puking, and Raymond froze in place. As for Joshua, he was still trying to understand what in the world was happening at that point. Almost a whole minute passed with all four quiet, the revelations sinking in. It was then that the sent guard walked in with a singles mattress and a blanket. Ricky felt like he was in some car racing tournament moments after he told Joshua the truth. Joshua wanted to get home at that point, he couldn't just go to Richards house he was unarmed.
