There was a brief silence after the shoot, with both genders look intensely into each other's eyes. A tear escaped Helen's eyes, just as a painful groan escaped Timothy's lips. They both simultaneously leg go of the gun, as Timothy's left hand found its way to his stomach. Blood gushed out and all Helen could do was stare looking heavily dumbfounded. Tim let out a painful cough as blood gushed out of his lips yet he still failed to say anything no matter how he tried. It was what the original plan was, to get rid of him but regret was beginning to creep in
"I'm sorry Tim. I'm truly very sorry but i had to do it." she stammered, "I can't marry you i can't." By that time Timothy's t-shirt was soaked with blood constantly escaping his lips and a few minutes later he was gone. Helen looked at the dead body next to her then out the window realizing she had not made any plan on how to get rid of the body. She was more worried about the weapon at that time but unfortunately, iRaymond was still in his head when the door flew open revealing a very furious Richard. He angrily closed and walked over, making Raymond fear the worst"Father are you okay?""Did you watch the news?" he responded with another question"News...no i didn't i must have missed it." said Raymond looking at the time, "What happened did they mention Helen?""They mentioned Helen and Timothy. Why in the world would my daughter murder my worker? You are going to tell me everything right here and right now." he finished off in a calm voice yet it demanded answers. Raymond did not know what to do he was equally shocked. He knew his sister would never settle for Timothy long term but murder?"Answer me damn it! Why would Helen murder Timothy what have you all been hiding from me?" he asked a terrified Raymond who fished out his voice ready to spill the beans. If there was anyone who would save Helen at that point it was Richard,
Two days passed with Richard moving to and fro trying to negotiate bail for his daughter while on the other with hand Julia locked up in her room with tissues lying all over. She hadn't communicated with anybody in the last two days, and neither was she in the mood to talk to anyone at all. Hunger was the last thing on her mind, and she similarly hadn't had her bath in those past two days. Dragging herself out of bed she walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower before cleaning up her room and walking out, sure to grab one of the car keys on her way out. She had cried enough, and all she wanted was to let Richard feel the pain she had felt if not double. She was going to ensure Helen never got out of prison as payback, and she was going to ensure he died a slow and very painful death while hopelessly watching his beloved daughter suffer behind the walls of the unforgiving prison. She wanted him to regret ever being a resident on planet earth and she wanted to let it sink into
Julia locked up the main door just as Raymond loaded her suitcase into the car. She lingered by the door for a while, the memories of Joshua walking in and out playing at the back of her head. The more she thought of him the heavier her heart became. She stared at her phone screen hoping for a call from Khumbu but there was non. She was worried sick, and she couldn't tell Raymond the what truly happened. Did he know Joshua was a paid assassin? That was her question and she was going to ask him. Maybe later. Her main focus was Richard at that point. She wanted to strike and get out of the house within two days. And day one had just begun. The car hoot brought her back to her senses and she turned to see Raymond all settled ready to go. She then looked at the house one last time before taking the further steps, landing on the front seat next to Raymond and driving out. As they drove out, her memories circled around all those days she would drive in and out with Joshua. All those days
Richard walked out of advocate Primrose's office his mind circling around what they had discussed. He was at a point where even his vice presidency seat which he had fought hard for was not going to help him. Helen was not going to get out scotch free like he wanted, the case had too much evidence stacked against her"The least i can do at this point is get her a lesser sentence. Something like ten years or less. Maybe eight because we insisted it's self defense. Helen has proof on her phone of the deceased threatening her so basically her only crime was trying to get rid of the body." she had said"Make it five. I don't know how you are going to do it but find enough evidence to get her to just five years. Make it happen." he had said before walking out. Prim was a reputable lawyer. One of the best in the country and he hoped she would deliver. There was noway he was going to watch his daughter suffer in prison, and if he had to pay someone to get her the
After minutes of trying to answer herself Julia eventually gave up and put back the picture where she found it. She looked around one last time then made her way out but bumped into her worst nightmare just as she walked out. She stared at him in pure disgust, while he looked at her in utter shock. A minute passed with the two standing stationary by the corridor staring at each other but the staring contest was ended by Raymond clearing his throat. He stood next to Julia and rested his hand on her back as if to assure her to stay calm. She was calm she needed nobody to tell her that, she was as calm as she could ever be in the undisturbed presence of her enemy, and deep deep down she applauded herself for that"Dad. I thought you were sleeping." he said"I just woke up. Was on my way to your room when i bumped into this stranger. Who is she?" he asked stamping an unfriendly gaze at Julia"Her name is Julia. She is Helen's friend she doesn't sta

"This room is amazing! Look at this!" said the girl lifting up a flower vase as soon as Tinashe left"It is. Its amazing." she responded her eyes lingering anywhere and everywhere. It was a beautiful room, a medium sized book shelf stationed by one of the corners books neatly stacked. Her eyes found their way to his bedside where there was a picture of Helen then on the right side a picture of Raymond. His kids were indeed his life"Isn't sir Raymond so handsome? I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life just looking at him." said the girl lifting up the picture, "I wouldn't mind sir Joshua either, he is so beautiful!" she said snapping Julia back to reality"You know Joshua?" she asked clearly aghast. The girl spared her a stunned look before placing back the picture"Don't be funny Thuba weren't we drooling over him was it last year lost your memory? And why does your voice sound different?" she said shocking Julia
Raymond walked out of his room following the screaming and stood by the door stunned by the guards trying to kick the locked door open. Julia was the first person that came to his mind, and he immediately ran over just as the door was kicked to the floor. Raising his gaze, he met with an unfamiliar face, the clothing on her body being the only familiar thing to him. They were Julia's pyjamas. But why was she in Julia's pyjamas in fact, where was Julia?"******The rest of the girls ran into the house to witness whatever commotion was happening while Julia rolled the paper she had been reading and shoved it back into her skirts. She could feel the discomfort of having both the papers and the picture underneath her skirts but she wasn't letting any of them go, all she wanted was to get out of that place as soon as she can. She was beginning to realize the amount of danger she was slowly drowning into and to worsen the situation, she was completely unarmed. Ch
