"Lets elope." said Timothy as they lay on the bed with Helen resting her head on his chest. She opened her eyes and blinked twice before asking him to repeat what he had said
"I said lets elope. You and i were made for each other Helen let's elope and go live freely and happy. With our child.""Shut up!" she snapped getting up to sit, "The fact that i just opened my legs for you doesn't mean i want to be with you. This is a once off Timothy...like always.""Helen listen...""No you listen. You are going to get out of my bed get dressed leave my room and never come back again. Go!" Timothy lingered for a bit before slowly getting out of the bed. In a just a black boxer, he picked up his clothes and headed to the bathroom leaving Helen to wonder if she had made a mistake again. She didn't see herself being with Timothy it was Joshua she wanted. How she wished he wanted her too but no, it just had to be Timothy! She had been playing cJulia gladly got into the car after being offered a driver to take her home. It had been a dramatic dinner but not too bad because the president's wife and daughter disappeared and never came back. The car slid smoothly down the highway as she was being driven home but before she knew it sleep began to catch up with her only to be disrupted by a phone call. She took it out thinking it was Joshua but to her surprise it wasn't him, it was Raymond"Raymond...hie." she stuttered. The last time she has seen him was when he came with a pregnant Helen. He had ignored both her calls and texts ever since the kissing incident at the club"Hey...i uhm...do you mind meeting up for lunch tomorrow? Just wanna talk.""No no i..i don't mind. Text me time and place i will be there."Cool." With that the call was cut leaving her to deal with her nerves. She had gotten herself into that mess in the first place and on the positive side she hoped Raymo
"Who are you?" whispered Julia in the calmest voice she could muster. She was not going to give a fearful impression just because she had no much weapons. It was dark already and that made her glad that he wouldn't see she was female, all she had to do was to dodge the car flash lights coming in opposite directions by the road not too far from them. As she was still thinking Joshua quickly kicked one of her hands leading to one gun falling to the ground but she had no time to mule over that as she pointed the other gun straight to his head"Checkmate." he let out a husky voice"What do you want from me?""Your life." he gave the responce she had expected. But she was not ready to die she was going to do whatever it took to survive"So why don't you fight me like a man then. Weapons off.""You must really be taking me for a fool.""No i am not. Here i am m placing mine down look." she said dropping the gun
After struggling to get transport that late night Julia eventually got home. She hurriedly switched on the lights before taking out her purse from the stolen bag. She had hastily ran over the car and retrieved her purse before the police got there and was glad all her belongings were inside and safe. Switching on her phone she gazed around for a sign of Joshua but found non then sighed in relief as she was in no mood to explain herself to anyone. She scrolled through the phone and was surprised to find not a single message or missed call from Joshua. Strange. She then ran up the stairs straight to her spare room where she stacked the stolen bag underneath the bed then threw her tired self onto the bed glad to finally be home and safe.*******With shaky fingers, Helen answered the call just as she locked the door"What is it?" she snapped feeling irrit
As Julia walked into the house, she hoped to bump into Joshua but upon searching all the rooms there was still no Joshua insight. She then went back to her room and called Raymond, worry beginning to creep in"Raymond hey. I wanted to know if you have heard from Joshua i haven't seen him for over 24hours now.""No i haven't heard from him either. I last saw him at the police station and he hasn't responded to any of my messages. Did you ask Ricky? Maybe he has some business at the club.""Send me his number please." she said as she cut the call. Few minutes later Raymond sent the contact but as she dialed it, it went straight to voicemail as well. At that point she was no longer sure of what to think. There was no way Joshua would dissappear for that long and not communicate. She then walked out and into the car then sped straight to club midnight. It was noisy as usual and heavily packed. She squeezed her way past the drunk customers until she
There was a brief silence after the shoot, with both genders look intensely into each other's eyes. A tear escaped Helen's eyes, just as a painful groan escaped Timothy's lips. They both simultaneously leg go of the gun, as Timothy's left hand found its way to his stomach. Blood gushed out and all Helen could do was stare looking heavily dumbfounded. Tim let out a painful cough as blood gushed out of his lips yet he still failed to say anything no matter how he tried. It was what the original plan was, to get rid of him but regret was beginning to creep in"I'm sorry Tim. I'm truly very sorry but i had to do it." she stammered, "I can't marry you i can't." By that time Timothy's t-shirt was soaked with blood constantly escaping his lips and a few minutes later he was gone. Helen looked at the dead body next to her then out the window realizing she had not made any plan on how to get rid of the body. She was more worried about the weapon at that time but unfortunately, i
Raymond was still in his head when the door flew open revealing a very furious Richard. He angrily closed and walked over, making Raymond fear the worst"Father are you okay?""Did you watch the news?" he responded with another question"News...no i didn't i must have missed it." said Raymond looking at the time, "What happened did they mention Helen?""They mentioned Helen and Timothy. Why in the world would my daughter murder my worker? You are going to tell me everything right here and right now." he finished off in a calm voice yet it demanded answers. Raymond did not know what to do he was equally shocked. He knew his sister would never settle for Timothy long term but murder?"Answer me damn it! Why would Helen murder Timothy what have you all been hiding from me?" he asked a terrified Raymond who fished out his voice ready to spill the beans. If there was anyone who would save Helen at that point it was Richard,
Two days passed with Richard moving to and fro trying to negotiate bail for his daughter while on the other with hand Julia locked up in her room with tissues lying all over. She hadn't communicated with anybody in the last two days, and neither was she in the mood to talk to anyone at all. Hunger was the last thing on her mind, and she similarly hadn't had her bath in those past two days. Dragging herself out of bed she walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower before cleaning up her room and walking out, sure to grab one of the car keys on her way out. She had cried enough, and all she wanted was to let Richard feel the pain she had felt if not double. She was going to ensure Helen never got out of prison as payback, and she was going to ensure he died a slow and very painful death while hopelessly watching his beloved daughter suffer behind the walls of the unforgiving prison. She wanted him to regret ever being a resident on planet earth and she wanted to let it sink into
Julia locked up the main door just as Raymond loaded her suitcase into the car. She lingered by the door for a while, the memories of Joshua walking in and out playing at the back of her head. The more she thought of him the heavier her heart became. She stared at her phone screen hoping for a call from Khumbu but there was non. She was worried sick, and she couldn't tell Raymond the what truly happened. Did he know Joshua was a paid assassin? That was her question and she was going to ask him. Maybe later. Her main focus was Richard at that point. She wanted to strike and get out of the house within two days. And day one had just begun. The car hoot brought her back to her senses and she turned to see Raymond all settled ready to go. She then looked at the house one last time before taking the further steps, landing on the front seat next to Raymond and driving out. As they drove out, her memories circled around all those days she would drive in and out with Joshua. All those days
