A coma?

Scarlett's POV

The feeling of being pulled out of a dark tunnel and back into consciousness was like being reborn.

Gradually, I regained awareness of my surroundings and let out a weak groan, exhaling a hot breath from my mouth.

Opening my eyes was a struggle, so I remained lying on the bed like a newborn baby with no memory. Numbness consumed me, and I didn't even recognize myself.

With my eyes still closed and my senses hazy, I started seeing my wolf in a blurry vision.

It had been so many years since I last saw my wolf, so tears escaped my eyes as I imagined her.

I had no idea what my parents did to me, but they claimed it was necessary to keep me safe.

When I was fifteen, they injected me with a greenish liquid using a hypodermic syringe. They said it was my medication, but since then, I've been unable to transform into my wolf.

My wolf was always the odd one in my family. While the rest of the pack had fur of a single color, mine had two colors and emitted a radiant light.
