Sebastian looked at Isabella in disbelief, his eyes filled with confusion and pain.

"This has to be a joke, right?" he asked, his voice trembling.

"No, Sebastian... it's not a joke. I am. I am Nicholas's mother."

Sebastian stepped back, shaking his head.
