Isabella spent the rest of the day with Nicholas after arriving at the apartment, while Sebastian checked the stock market and the company's shares. However, his mind was always on Isabella. Suddenly, he left the laptop on the bed and walked out of the room determined to find her.

He wanted to explain, though he didn't understand why. But a feeling of guilt tightened his chest, not to mention that Mateo's words were still swirling in his head.

"I hope it's not too late when you realize it..."

"Late? Late for what?" he murmured.

"Don't play dumb, Sebastian... You know very well what Mateo is talking about, your feelings aren't as superficial as you want to make them seem. Isabella is much more than just sex, you like her," he thought.

He closed his eyes and snorted, amused by his own thoughts.
