The dj keeps the vibe on in the room with his beats and good music pulsating through the speakers.

I keep dancing with Clara, throwing one or two jokes her way due to my already drunken state. Sophie had came to dance with us then left and now she's back again. She briefly complains about George's annoying friends making Clara secretly blush and I can't help but wonder if Sophie also knows about Clara's feelings for George.

She has to know, right?

Girls notice the little things and like pairing their brothers with their friends atimes. Just like Clara can do the same for her little brother.

I, on the other hand, can't relate. I do have a brother, but a step brother and I've never been that close to him because he attended a boarden school. And now, I still can't be close to him cause I'm far away from my family with an identity of my own, due to certain reasons.

The thought of my family after a long time, suddenly make my heart ache. I don't like thinking of it. I don't like thinking of them. I just don't want to think of the things that cause pain to my heart, anymore.

I suddenly feel the need to use the rest room, so I excuse myself from them and walk away with my liquor bottle. I haven't felt the need to leave it yet, even though I emptied it few minutes ago. I like the vibe it's giving to my dancing steps.

I open the door to the restroom and clumsily walk to one of the toilets. I empty my bladder and sit there for a while with dizzy eyes.

Finally regaining my senses that I need to get up and continue partying, I clean up and drop my gown. I then walk to the wash basin and wash my hands as I stare at myself in the mirror, laughing at how messed up my hair is and how drained I look.

I dry my hands as I move side to side according to the beat I can manage to hear from there. I walk out of the rest room only to come in contact with a hard body. I look up with my still dizzy eyes then I look down to scratch them. Looking back up, I blink my eyes at the man I just bumped into.

"You." I poke his chest. "I know you." I snicker. "Mr. Strange guy."

"Yeah. I know you too. Mrs. Don't flirt with me." He says the last part in a mimicking voice.

"Of course you do. I gave you a tough time down there."

"Not as much as my boss will be giving you from now hence forth."

"Your boss." I puff out my lips. "So you also have a boss?"

"I do."

"Oh, wow. At least you have a boss. At least you're employed and make money just like me." I open my mouth and widen my eyes now remembering Collins. "My ex didn't have a boss and he blamed me for it."

"How cruel." He said in a bored tone.

"Well..." I move closer to him and whisper. "...He was unemployed." I laugh, now realizing how funny it actually sounds. "It was a shaking something." I cough in between my laughs. "Employed. Unemployed. Employed. Unemployed." I laugh harder. "That was the last straw. It's unfortunate he blames me for his misfortune."

He chuckles. "It is."

"You don't have to tell me." I slowly end my laughter.

"You must enjoy talking to me."

"Nope. I enjoy talking to my best friend." I tap his shoulder. "She must be waiting." I move to walk away but he stops me by holding my right hand. I puff out my lips again as I look at his hands on mine, then up at his face. "No contact Mr. Strange guy." I move my index finger from side to side, trying to put on a stern look, even though I desperately want to laugh at my ridiculousness.

"Let me take you to your bestfriend."

"I certainly don't need your help. I know my way." I stagger.

"Not in this state."

"I came up here all by myself. Do you really think I'm that sloppy not to know my way back?" He ignores me and pulls me to walk behind him.

"Yes, I do."

I scoff. "You are...What's that word you used again?" I tap my index finger on my lip as I think of it.

"Cruel." He helps.

"Yes cruel. You're cruel. Your words are cruel."

"It doesn't matter."

"That's ridiculous." I roll my eyes. "It does. You live with you humans so it does matter. Except you are otherwise."

"I am."

I scoff in sheer excitement. "I knew it. The moment I saw you at the bar table." I walk faster so I can walk abreast him. "Tell me about your world Mr. strange guy." I snicker.

"You mean the world you live in?" We walk through the crowd and I struggle to keep up with the way he's pulling me behind him.

"Clara is at the other side."

"It's crowded in here. You don't expect her to still be there. She should have changed spot."

"No." I argue.

"It's a club."

"Duhh." I roll my eyes and keep walking behind him.

He opens the entrance door and walks outside, making me furrow my brows. "Now, Clara can't be outside. Can she." I say in a questioning tone.

"No."

"Where are you taking me to then?"

"Somewhere." He keeps pulling me behind him.

I struggle in his hold, not sure of going somewhere away from the club with a stranger.

"No. Take me back inside."

"Should I?" He turns his head to look at me with raised eyebrows and a smirk lingering in his lips.

Oh, how foolish of me to think he will. "Never mind." I use all my might to snap my hands out of his hold and start walking back to the club.

"I guess you like it the hard way then." I don't get to take more than five steps before he picks me up from the floor over his shoulder.

"Hey. You. Mr. Strange guy." I hit his back. "Drop me down right this moment." I say in a commanding, yet weak voice.

"I would. Just not now."

"Drop me down or I would...shit." I hold my head, trying to calm my headache. My dizzy eyes with the way he's carrying me upside down, is of no help to the effect the liquor is giving me. "I need to meet my bestfriend you idiot."

"Here you go." I hear the sound of a car door opening then he drops me inside. I brush my hair to the back and stare at him as he shuts the door and gets into another car who has four men dressed in black.

My eyes widen.

Are they Collins men?

Shit.

The smell of cigarette makes me turn my head to look at the old man sitting beside me.

Is he the 'new owner' Collins talked about?

He blows out the smoke, making me cough.

"Don't do that."

"So you're Janet Stewart."

"No. I'm Janet Johnson."

"David Stewart is your father."

"Was my father." I correct him, my eyes slowly shutting.

"That's funny. It's unfortunate if he's dead but he owes me a huge sum of money."

Oh, so this doesn't have to do with Collins.

Well, it's no different. Anything concerning my dad calls for trouble.

"Well sorry for your loss, but that's none of my business." I attempt to open the door, only to realize that it's been locked by that stranger. I huff, frustrated. I turn to look at him with narrow eyes. "Let me out." I say with little to no strength to fight. "Who are you?"

"I'm Carlo Gigante." He smokes. "Nice to meet you." He stretches his hand out to me with a dangerous smirk on his face.

I look at his hand then at him and roll my eyes, ignoring his outstretched hands. "Whatever." I rest my head against the window, tired.

It doesn't take long before my eyes shut close. Totally clueless on what's going on or where I'm going to.

What a great time I had at the club.

ALEXANDER'S POVI put on a stern look as I walk into 'Hell'. My favourite room in my mansion. It's a place where I make people regret their actions and give them enough pain that they wish to be dead. It's my favourite place because here, people who mess with me realize what it actually is to be helpless. They realize what it means to be at my mercy. They realize the importance of so much power. It smells of dried blood from the injuries and killings of different people who decided to test what it's actually like to mess with me. Atimes it smells of sweat and now it smells of an unclean old man. He's my current prey and I have this cute feeling that Collins Fisher will be next. "I would be sad to know you didn't miss me." I tell the old man and nod at Simon to untie the cloth from his mouth. He bends his head and breath through his mouth in relief. He snaps his head up to me with wide eyes. "My son. You killed my son." "I did and you are going to do nothing about it." "What do y

"You're finally awake."I bring my head forward to look at the man standing before me, with weak eyes. I struggle to stable my eyes so I can see him properly. When I do, my eyes widen at who I see standing before me. "You!""Yes, me.""What's that your name again...aah, aah, James." At least he told me his name before the liquor completely took over my senses. I look down at my stiff hands to see they are tied to the arm rest of the chair I'm sitting on. "Why am I tied up?""Because you are Janet Stewart.""Janet Johnson." I correct him."Why Johnson?" He raises his brows."Because that's my surname. Any problem?""Yes.""Well, not my concern. I planned while they slept, now I'm going to win while they plan. The auctioneer says one or two things before going straight to the business of the day. "We'll start at 10 million." He announced."16 million." A man far from me is the first to bid."18 million." A lady behind me says.I don't raise my head to see the biders. I keep going through my phone, yet paying close attention to how the auction is going."Come on. Don't hesitate. It's worth bu...""21 million." Another lady interrupts him by saying."Sir, aren't you going to bid?" Seth asks, curious at my silence."I believe you trust me better than to be questioning me.""But boss..." I raise my index finger to shut him up."Collins." I look up at him.

JANE'S POV I cry profusely next to the strange man who bought me at the auction. I meant to run away. I meant to run to Clara. ALEXANDER'S POV I walk out of Jane's room with my hands in my pockets as I make my way to my office. I sit behind my desk before making a call to Seth.I stare at my desk thinking of the successful auction and Janet. I'm glad I have her. I acquired her by my own means, not because of Collins. So yes, I'm glad I'll have another coward to torture. Torturing that old man only, is turning into a boring activity. I need someone new like Collins, to add.Janet on the other hand...now, that I think of it, I don't know what to do with her. I have her at my possession but have no use for her...yet.She seems soft and gullible. She'll be an easy one to control of course, except she decides otherwise, but that's no worry, cause I got her covered. My office door opens and Seth walks in. "Boss.""How did it go?""We finished the job. No soul working for Carlo nor Carlo Gigante himself, was spared." I nod for him to go on. Jane's POVI snap my eyes open and abruptly stand up, when I realize I had slept off. Shit. I planned to escape from this place as soon as I was aware everyone is asleep. But instead, I joined them in the dream world.I quickly walk to the curtain to see that it's still a bit dark outside. I sigh in relief knowing that the devil and his guards should still be very much asleep. I turn to look up of the wall at the clock, to see it's 5:27am. I huff and walk to my door. It unexpectedly opened. I expected them to lock me in here since I was brought here out of my own will. The door might not be locked but going out through it was impossible. I stare with wide eyes at the guards who turn to look at me. They are both standing on each side of the door staring at me with raised brows. I fake a wide smile in embarrassment that I've been caught. I quickly shut the door and walk to and fro in the room, thinking of what I should do now.Why are they there? Don't they sleep? It's frustrating

I made use of the aloe shampoo in the bathroom to wash my hair after brushing my teeth with the spare toothbrush I had found in one of the drawers. The liquid bathing soap smelt of vanilla, was nice and refreshing. I haven't taken a proper satisfying bath since I was captured by Carlo. It felt good to feel this clean again.I had picked a knee length knicker with a plane polo shirt to wear. There were shorts, rompers and some below the knee dresses, but I didn't like the idea of walking round the house with men positioned at every corner of the house.I put on my shirt without bothering for a bra since I didn't have one and there was no spare in the wardrobe. Even if there was, I couldn't trust that it has never been used by whoever kept them here. The door creaks open as I take my shirt down from the top of my breast."Oh, I'll come later then." The feminine voice makes me turn in surprise to see a middle aged woman moving to shut the door."Hold on." She pauses to look at me. "You

ALEXANDER'S POVI tried. I tried not to care about her or her fucking ankle, but I found myself asking for Eva's help on her behalf. There was something about the way she looked, the way she reacted, like she wasn't used to pain and you could see on her face that she feared that's all I have to offer. Cause she's right. When she had talked about the clothes in the wardrobe. I was amused by her wrong conclusion and right assumption about me.Maybe I did sleep around with girls who were ready to offer their body to me anywhere, at anytime, but not a single one got to live with me. Infact, Jenna was the only one who got to sleep overnight. I never allowed such until her, because she was that good on bed, too bad, she had to go.I had come straight to hell the moment I left her room. I might have missed the old man and I know he certainly missed my tortures. "Your wounds are healing and I don't like that." I tell him, running my thumb on the sharp knife which I usually use on people w

As much as I want to stay in here for as long as I can, I step out of the bathroom to get dressed. My eyes narrow at the piece of paper held down by a box on the table. I didn't remove the box and just read the note right there on the table. 'Get dressed. We are leaving in 30 minutes.'My brows furrow and my lips squeeze into a frown. I take the note and tear it before moving over to my clothes to get dressed into shorts and a tank top. So demanding. So commanding. No detail but an authoritative note demanding my obedience. Bullshit. Two days since I confronted him. Two days since I visited Clara and he's yet to say a word to me. He's nothing but a heartless being who doesn't care how I feel even after I swallowed my pride and approached him about it.I would be mad to dress up and follow him wher

JANE'S POVThe car door open for me to get in just as I get to it. I sit quietly at the back seat as the driver starts the car. Beside me was the guard I frequently see with Alex. After a long time of paying attention to just Alex and not the man beside him, I now take proper look at him.His small eyes and chubby cheeks which looked like they needed some fat burn, along with his arms. His bald head which shone under the sun and his brown skin which radiated in the light. He was too good looking and fleshy to be a guard and even with his chubby physique he still looked like he could take a well body built enemy of Alex, down."You're a lot of headache to my boss." "He deserves it." I don't deny the fact that I did stress Alex alot but then, I stopped, right? I accepted my fate, I accepted my attraction towards him and look where it got me. JANE'S POVI quickly shower and lay on my bed for a while, staring at the ceiling. I somehow didn't feel the need to leave the room today. For the first time since I got here, I'll be comfortable being locked up in my room. I can't help but feel embarrassed and awkward whenever I think of that night. His actions that night after what we had done was enough reason for me to regret. I knew I would regret it anyway, but I didn't know it would come so soon.Maybe I was new to it. Sex and everything but what I wasn't new to was reading actions. I wasn't dumb I knew when actions were wrong and vibes were off, because a certain someone like Collins had given me enough of it.Maybe his actions could also be because I came when he told me not to yet?Damn. He's complicated and I feel embarrassed everytime I think of it. A knock on my door makes me snap my head to the door, thinking it was Alex. The door opened to Eva and I huffed in disappointment. My heart raced as my eyes watched him. Without thinking twice, I take his hands and place them on my hips, signaling him to continue from where he had stopped. He squeezed on it before running his hands up my sides to my breast. "Beautiful." He cupped it before lowering his lips to meet with my nipple. I moan at the contact of his hot lips. JANE'S POVI'd rather shave off my hair than move into that room with Alexander. It's absurd. Ever since the day I saw Collins lifeless body, I've been trying my best to keep my distance from him. Not just because I was scared of him and whatever business he was into, but also because of the way he makes me feel.Hot and uneasy. As much as I disagree, as much as I really don't want to move to his room, I have no choice. Maybe I might actually shave my hair and turn bald at the end. He wasn't taking no for an answer, well, not that he had asked me though. The speed game we had played days back was also another way to make me.I had agreed to do whatever he asked of me.What was I thinking when I sat opposite him as an expert. I was a fool for a moment. A moment to think he would loose to a game he had brought up himself. He was a businessman. How in the world did I expect him to loose to me. Mischievous little Jane was probably getting her panties.Eva had moved Jane's clothes here when she was deep in her sleep. I had gone through her clothes when Eva was through arranging and out of the room. Few of her clothes were already adapting the smell of Ella's vanilla soap. The smell on Ella was nice but the smell on Eva, intoxicating. I tie my towel on my waist and walk out of the bathroom.
