Chapter 3: Death or Him?

Beatrice's POV

It was so hard to believe that I was standing in front of Alpha Tobias. The most ruthless, fearless, and well-known Alpha of all the werewolves here in this place. Everybody knows him and no one messes around when he's near. But most of all, this man is no other than the twin brother of my mate, Alpha Sebastian.

“Beatrice.”

The way he called my name, it gives me different emotions. I could feel my legs shaking, my eyes teary, as well as my heart pounding like a drum. It was hard to determine what exactly I felt at this moment.

“Glad that my men successfully took you out of the cell.” He uttered, hands under his pockets.

He looked so freaking hot and I stopped myself from fantasizing about him.

“He's so hot!” My wolf suddenly reacted which made me blush.

“W-What do you want from me, Alpha Tobias?” I asked, still on my shaking legs.

He continued walking until I was cornered by him. Alpha Tobias only left an inch gap away from me and I was catching my breath as I smelled his scent. That manly scent who can make a woman stutter.

“Did I mention something to you earlier?” He asked and I swallowed my saliva because of that.

“Y-You saved me… But why?” I asked him.

Alpha Tobias didn't smile. He stayed unreadable and he was known for that. I won't be shocked by that because this is not the first time I saw him. I've been seeing him before with Alpha Sebastian.

“Simple. I have my reasons.” He responded coldly and it made me laugh. 

“Save me? Why would you do that, Alpha Tobias? I am the one who killed your brother, right?” I uttered, but then I stopped laughing when he didn't react. He remained cold in front of me.

“I believe that you didn't kill my twin brother. You are not capable of doing that because you're weak. You're too thin to kill him.” Alpha Tobias responded, so I grit my teeth.

“Don't tell me you want to slaughter me all by yourself? You don't want the pack wolves to see me dying because you wanted to kill me mercilessly, do you?”

I don't know where I get the courage to talk to him like that. Well, it's maybe because I'm losing the will to keep my life. I'm waiting for them to slaughter me. After all, I don't believe that Alpha Tobias will keep me alive, the woman who slaughtered his twin brother.

“I'll be straight to the point, little wolf,” he uttered, which made me grit my teeth. I just hate the way he called me. “I didn't save you for nothing. Everything has a payment.”

I shook my head and still have the guts to cross my arms. Alpha Tobias leaned against his car and it's making me attracted to him, so I turned my head away when he noticed the look that I was shooting at him.

“I-I was right. You have other plans for me instead of killing me. But I don't want to suffer. You better end my life because I'm ready to die.” I responded to him and then he laughed.

“As you wish.” 

My heart pounded when he walked near my direction. I was expecting him to tear my heart, but he did the opposite. Alpha Tobias grabbed my waist, and he pulled me near him. It almost blew my heart away.

“Don't make me mad, little wolf. I have saved your life for your execution tomorrow, yet you won't give me back what I want. You have no choice because I have my words. Don't make me change my mind.” His deep voice sent shivers to my body. It seems like I lost my voice because instead of answering him, I ended up staring at him deeply into his eyes.

“Come on, Beatrice. I don't want to die. Don't be so hard headed. It's our chance to escape death. Come on!” Trisha screamed inside my head, which made me sigh.

“W-What do you want from me, Alpha Tobias? W-What can I do to pay you?” I asked him, still shaking.

He was still so close to me and our bodies are still touching each other. I could almost feel his hotness to my body.

“You're beautiful, Beatrice, do you know that?” He strokes my hair that makes me freeze. I wasn't expecting him to do that. He's not the type of an Alpha who used to get attracted to women, but right now is different.

“W-What a-are y-you s-saying?” I asked stuttering. 

“You're the one I wanted to be mine. The woman who is fit to be the mother of my heir.” Alpha Tobias muttered, so I pushed him away. I was about to run away but his men blocked the way.

My eyes were shut as I tried to calm my shaking nerves. His words rang into my head and it's giving me a chilling vibe. Damn it. 

“I want a luna and a child. So, if you agreed, I wanted you to be my luna and to give me a child.” He keeps on talking, while I am still trying to digest everything that he's telling to me.

It seems like I was just hallucinating. The ruthless, handsome, and hot Alpha asked me to be his luna. Is this even for real? But what if he's only tricking me? 

“You're kidding me, Alpha Tobias!” I uttered and I couldn't even believe to myself that I did mention those.

“It's either… Be mine or death. Your choices will be your future, Beatrice. I'll give you two minutes to decide.”

Hands squeezed into fists as I heard him saying those words. I took a deep breath and tried to digest everything, not until my wolf had spoken up through the mind link.

“What are you still waiting for, Beatrice? We have to choose to be with him or else we will both die. I don't want to die, neither do you, right?”

Biting my upper lips, I nodded my head to Trisha. I know Alpha Tobias. He has his words and if we decline the deal, he will eventually kill us with no exception. Honestly, I'm afraid to die early. I still have so many dreams to fulfill. 

I turned my head back to him but I gasped when I found out how close we are to each other. But before I could react, Alpha Tobias pulled me again and then he took my precious lips.
