Chapter 26: Not the perfect timing

Beatrice's POV

The woman's question on Tobias rings a bell to me. I never expected that she would ask him that kind of question.

“Do I look like one of his girls?” I stated.

The woman raised her left brow while looking at me. I just can't allow anyone to bully me like that. Never.

“I didn't ask you to respond. I'm… Talking to Tobias and let him say that to us. We're waiting.”

I shook my head from her response. Tobias on the other hand settled down by sitting on the chair in the front of them. It's weird that he didn't say anything and was expecting him to deny me to her not until when he decided to speak.

“She's not one of my other girls, Sophia. This girl that you're referring to is my wife. You heard that?”

Everyone gasped from what he mentioned as well as the woman who he called Sophia. She can't believe his response and I'm here on Tobias' side looking at them.
