Ch-153. Two Cans

Ashley's POV:

Before I know it, my cheeks are drenched with fresh tears, and I can't control the stream of fresh tears spilling from my eyes.

Is there anyone who really cares for me… who has really been honest with me in this lifetime?

Robert makes me stand back on my feet, before stepping in front of me.

“Are you okay! Are you hurt anywhere?”

“No, I am fine.”

I reply, and he turns back to Tiffany.

“You are really a devil, Tiffany! Who would do this to their bestfriend–”

“You are telling me! But I know that you would have done the same thing after knowing her reality.”

Saying this, she looks at me with narrowed eyes, speaking with an amount of disgust that I never even thought was possible.

“She is pregnant with Ethan's child, out of wedlock–”

“And? Your point is?”

He raises his voice, shutting Tiffany down.

“That doesn't give you the authority to hurt her.”

As soon as he says these words, Tiffany directs the same glance of hatred towards him.
