Ch-128. Past meets present

Ethan's POV:

In my plans to introduce Ashley to the world, how could I have forgotten the fact that if I decide to go to Emily and Jordan's engagement, then I will definitely run into the old crowd of our college… our old tribe, the people who once used to be a very part of my life.

Neil called me, seeing me there with Ashley– and my heart was immediately filled with the fear of what would happen if anyone told Ashley about Emily before my announcement. This fear covered my logical thinking and I left her there, instructing her not to move from her place.

My attention is pulled away from Ashley when I feel someone roughly pulling me into an aggressive hug.
