Jace’s POV

As I stormed off; I had no other wish than to be alone and vent out my built up frustration, anger and feeling of betrayal. I hated being helpless and weak in front of others but my reputation would be at stake if I left the meeting abruptly.

I tried to smile but I couldn’t hide my foul mood and scowled instead, as I approached the door to the conference room where the meeting was ongoing she blocked my path and wouldn’t let me go in, I eyed her confusedly.
