The Rebirth of Elena

The Rebirth of Elena

Blurb: “An heir is necessary”—so was the tradition of Reverie. Weak and wolf-less, Elena sacrifices the only title that gave her little respect in Sizzle pack to her mate, Vernon. She hoped it would be enough to bind their love. Unfortunately, her inability to conceive an heir stirs his heart to another, Elena’s sister. Following his devastating betrayal, Elena meets her brutal end at the hands of the lycan king during a violent invasion. But death was only the beginning. She awakens in the body of a woman in the Lycan castle, surrounded by mysteries of her former life. Was she brought back for revenge or did fate have other plans? Especially now she was in possession of the body of Rhoda, wife of the Lycan who killed her.

Chapter: Chapter 11
VIOLA’S POV“A lycan was spotted within the pack last night and was killed,” he says. My heart dropped to the floor, my pulse quickening as my gaze shot to the gathering. Killian! My world spun as my legs moved in their own, rushing toward the gathering in the lawn. Each step I took, my worst fear clawed at me. Could it be him? Was he the Lycan being talked about? No. He was too smart to caught or be taken down by the werewolves. Vernon’s huge figure was standing before the body that lay lifeless on the ground. I made my way through the little crowd till I was standing behind Vernon. “Vee,” Vernon called, twisting his body to look at me and take me to his side. I got the opportunity to see who it was. A deep sigh of relief escaped my lips seeing it wasn’t Killian. My hand rested gently in my stomach, letting my heart find its pace. “You’re up,” Vernon added, snapping me out of my thoughts. It took me a while before I was funall able to turn to him. Goddess knows what my reaction

Chapter: Chapter 10
~VIOLA’S POV~I was interrupted as the door creaked open, revealing Vernon’s build before his face. My heart sack instantly, my eyes falling from my socket. “Vee…who are you speaking to?” Vernon asked, his face twisted as his eyes flickered around the room. I turned, but Killian was gone. A heavy sigh of relief escaped my mouth, my heart finding peace. “Who is Killian by the way?” Vernon added. I had to come up with something to say to Vernon. The child would be a perfect excuse. I put on a wide smile, turning to him and covering the gap between us before he did. “Yes, love. Killian. That’s the name I suggest for our child,” I rested my palm on his shoulder and massaged them. His eyes was still going round the room, and I was forced to bring his gaze back to me using my other hand. “What do you think baby?”“Killian…” Vernon’s twisted face was replaced with a smile. “Isn’t there a better name,” he wrapped his arms around my head and kissed it, tracing his ear down to my stomach. “

Chapter: Chapter 9
~VIOLA,S POV~The cold breeze swept through the open windows, carrying the scent of the woods. I sat by the fireplace in my room, a hand placed protectively on my belly. I massaged it, a faint smile touching my lips as I felt a kick. A full month had gone since my step sister was tajen out of the picture . Yet, my mind wasn’t settled. It seemed there was something missing somewhere. Something that has driven my unsatisfaction. I stood up and made my way to the window, where I watched the rest of the werewolves gathering the rest of their belongings and head back home. The last rites for Elena had taken place earlier today. It was more crowded than I expected. I excused myself from being present and stayed locked in my room all day. She was gone, but it still felt like her shadows lingered in the darkness around the pack house , depriving me of my sanity at night. I resolved to staying away from the dark corners of the pack house. Maybe that way, I’ll stop feeling hunted and watche

Chapter: Chapter 8
~ELENA’S POV~Was this it? Was this my reckoning? The arena fell silent, the gaze of the Lycans directed at me. I swallowed hard, trying my best to hide the fear that swirled in my stomach. I saw the anticipation in their eyes, waiting to see my reaction. The man who had spoken stepped forward, his chest heaving with anger and the veins in his bald head pulsating like they were transporting the blood of three lycans in one body. I needed to think fast—just like I did with Garrison. But this was different. Garrison was my mate—Rhoda’s mate. He would believe her without blinking twice. These are warriors. Trained men and women. They needed to be convinced. The weight of their stares pressed on me like a physical force, waiting for me to explode. But I knew I had to careful. One wrong move, one slip of the tongue and everything would unravel. I inched closer to the man, my guards following behind. With a smile, hiding all storm of thoughts going on in my head, I gave my first respons

Chapter: Chapter 7
~ ELENA’S POV ~“We’ve been followed,” My heart hammered in my chest as my hands gripped the child in my arm. He stirred in my arms, his soft whimpers blending with the rising tension in the room. Lisa’s claws extended, her body heating up as she started walking towards the door. The knock came again, causing my blood to run cold. How was someone able to track us through the tunnel? I thought Lisa said it was a secret. The second knock pushed the door in and it creaked open. I heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing who it was. Garrison. Lisa’s claws retracted and I saw her chest return to base with a heavy sigh. “Your grace,” she greeted with a bow.“I’m sorry I startled you,” Garrison apologized, his eres flicking between me and the child in my arms. They were filled with a deepening sense of passion and love as he inched closer. His gaze shifted back to me, with his hand racing up my sleeve. “Can I?” He breathed.“Sure,” I replied with a smile. I gently passed the boy into his arm

Chapter: Chapter 6
~ ELENA’S POV ~“I…” that was the only word I could think of. A million thoughts raced through my mind. What was going to tell him? I buried my face, my hand caressing my neck, feeling for the place where the birthmark was supposed to be. The air around us thickened, and his expression went from one of concern to that of suspicion. “The birthmark,” I muttered, lifting my face and looking back into his ash eyes. “ Must have been taken away by the moon goddess. Maybe it was her way of cleansing me to bring me back,” I responded, hoping he would buy it.And he did. His brows dropped and he reached for my hand again. “My bad. I should have thought about that too,” he apologized.“It’s fine Garrison. I understand,” I responded, feeling the rate of my heart dropping to normal. Another minute of safety earned. I just had to keep up with it for as long as I could. And always think smart and fast. Garrison stood up, taking my hand and helping me to my feet. “Come, the hall is full of people
