Belinda is what people call unfortunate. She is the result of an extramarital affair of the Luna of the Chicago Pack with a human, dooming her to be born an omega. On the morning of her wedding, her mate, the Beta of the pack, rejects her to be with her step-sister. Hours later, she is thrown into a river by her family and left to drown.
