CHAPTER NINE— NIKOLAI. I was surrounded by partial darkness but I could see a figure standing close to me. From the scent exuding from the person, I could tell it was one of my brothers. He was standing somewhere, waiting— watching my every movement. My body was laid on a bed, tightened with chains so I couldn't move. "Take these chains off of me." I said to the figure.
