They hold competition annually since 1999, where ten artists of hyperrealistic paintings will compete against each other. The entry to this competition was too competitive and had a small percentage of successful admission. The museum chooses ten participants out of the average number of hundreds of people nationwide who submitted their audition applications. The participants needed to have a long history of winnings from their local art competitions and apply a hyperrealistic painting on canvas in size of fifty by fifty inches.
