Chapter: EIGHTIETH-FIFTH CHAPTER: ---(;P)~ ~(Nixie’s memories)~ ~(d:)--- It has been three weeks since after leaving the hell hole that was our old life at that village, and we still haven’t reached our destination. I’m worried for my sister Anneliesa as she didn’t sign up for this and plus, I haven’t been able to really talk with her. As they are keeping us apart. For some reason we couldn’t ride in the same carriage and plus that strange guy King Davien who just asks me weird questions about my childhood. Though I really don’t mind answering as my Angel, Crisal is also riding with us, and he is a lot of fun to talk with. Except he keeps the king in the conversation. So, I’m just playing along for we have to be close or at least halfway there, to this unknown destination. For I am so over this ride down memory lane. I did know that getting in the carriage meant I was at King Davien’s mercy, but he has of yet tell me what he wants of me in return for taking me from my un

Chapter: EIGHTIETH-FOURTH CHAPTER: Groaning as I collapsed on the ground, I just wished today could be over already. *Why did I agree to this again?* I ask Nadia as I stare at the ceiling of the studio. I knew I didn’t have long before that mad woman, Cecilia, came for me. She just didn’t let up, didn’t even matter that I was still recovering from my injuries or that I was a novice. She came at me hard and demanded that I didn’t quit, or she will strike Maniac. Which she has a few times when I really did try to call it quits. Maniac didn’t really like that and reacted horribly. He almost tore her arm off when he locked on her lower arm. She didn’t flinch or yell, just looked at me and waited for my response. I told Maniac to stand down and not to react to her. So, I really can’t stop, as if I don’t move, she’s going to attack Maniac and given he is actually listening to me, he could get hurt as he won’t block or move. Groaning once more, I sat up and looked right at her. She’s just s

Chapter: EIGHTIETH-THIRD CHAPTER: ---Merida’s POV--- So, getting hurt was kind of a blessing as I no longer had to assist Lucinda, but I did miss our talks, or really her stories. But now I get to hang out with Jenn and Sarah and watch them in their training classes. Though it is boring at times, Nadia helps get me on track by telling me how I can do those moves. In fact, I’m really surprised how much nicer Nadia has been lately. Even her voice is more soothing and comforting to me. I really am enjoying it, but I also miss her harsh words and shrill tone. Even her loudness is absent and that troubles me. It’s like she sees me as glass or better yet that she’s hiding something from me. But for the life of me I can’t think of what she is hiding. “Meri, are you listening?” Sarah asks me as she drops on the bench next to me. Jenn is across the room putting the stuff away. So training is over, but I was zoning out, so I didn’t notice anything. Another

Chapter: EIGHTIETH-SECOND CHAPTER: ---Unknown POV--- It’s been months and I finally learned where they hid her. She was tucked away at the castle. I was pissed for that meant I couldn’t see her or get close but I had a friend in the castle and they could check on her for me. “Hello Des, what’s up?” came Melody Riera’s voice. She wasn’t high on the rooster as a laundry maid, but she knew everything that was happening in the castle. Being in the laundry room, she could hear all types of gossip and ask about personal items given she needed to be aware of who owned what and where to send it or how to treat it. “Melody, I need you to look into a young lady that just arrived in the castle.” I say, I pause to think how to describe her without telling Riera who she is. I figured they are keeping quiet for the moment as she is still young and unaware of our world. “She’s a young girl with light brown or dark blonde hair. She’s quiet.” “Are you talking about that girl t

Chapter: EIGHTIETH-FIRST CHAPTER: ---Ericson’s POV--- To think my little apple could be so stubborn, especially when she’s hurt. Only it was the fact that she was determined to see to Maniac that I relented and assisted her. And when I say assisted, I mean I picked her up and carried her to the other side of the room and held her as she fussed over the flea-bitten annoyance. Though it was his response to her that really shocked me. That overgrown menace just rolled his eyes at her as he let her touch him and kiss him. Sharing a look with my king, who patiently watched, we waited till the vet said that’s all he could do. Not that he could do anything, as Maniac refused his touch or treatment. “Tell me what to do and I’ll do it.” Meri suddenly said. The vet, seeing no harm in it started to instruct her, while we assisted as she was still not allowed to move her left arm. Before long Maniac was patched up and licking her as she spoke to him, “Ok, ok! Now you rest as Steven

Chapter: EIGHTIETH CHAPTER: ---Sarah’s POV--- I was seething as I watched the vampire council argue about Meri’s intentions. How I know they will choke when they learn the truth! As any relationship or good graces, they were hoping to build with the Princess when she is found, just got destroyed. Though I really don’t see that Barbas ever being friendly, he’s always causing issues. He doesn’t like anyone who he sees as below him. Yet he doesn’t understand that he has no power, him being Councilor Sylvia’s beloved is all show. She is the one infatuated with him and made him her beloved when her true beloved was killed in the last war. That vampire was strong and respected, he died protecting a town full of people and he didn’t expose his nature or the mission that was happening nearby. In fact, Steven says his sacrifice and courage that day ensured the mission and that we won that war. Though the thing that gets me is that Councilor Sylvia got her seat in honor of him.
